She quietly entered the room, her long thick eyelashes and rosy cheeks soaked with tears. She quickly wiped her tears with her veil as she looked at Allonia, she looked so weak and lonely laying down on that eerie bed with linen sheets that used to be white with a mask covering her face. Becca walked towards her and sat right beside her on a silver stool. She ran her fingers through the young lady's uncombed tangled hair. She stared at her innocent face that used to light up when she thought of meeting her dad but now it wasn't ever going to be possible in internal life. She took out the holy Bible from her bag and started reciting the Gospel of Genesis. After reciting the bible, she prayed to God for Allonia's better health, as she prayed Allonia moved her fingers, her breathing started to get very rough. Becca rose from the chair and headed out the door. "Nurse! doctor!" she yelled.
"Yes, Ma'am," replied Dr.Smith as he came running towards her.
"Allonia moved her fingers!" replied Becca as her face lit up. The doctor followed Becca into the room and examined Allonia. He stared at Allonia in shock.
"This is unbelievable, it's impossible for a patient to recover this fast!" replied the doctor.
"It's possible sir, this little girl is fearless she can fight anything,"replied Becca as tears ran down her cheeks and her lips curved into a wide smile.
That night Becca slept in the hospital with Allonia to make sure that if Allonia needed something she was there for her. The night passed by quickly and the next day, Becca headed to Allonia's room after praying while Dr. Smith was giving her an injection of glucose. As Becca sat beside her on the silver stool, a slight smile crept over Allonia's face. Becca was very content Allonia's recovery but was saddened whenever she thought about Allonia's inconsiderate action, she had to take such a harsh step that was against nature and can't ever be a solution to a problem. She was getting very worried about her and her relatives. For the next two weeks, Allonia stayed at the hospital and Becca stayed there along with her as well. Finally, during the third week, the doctor informed Abdullah and Becca that the heir of Mr.Shah could be taken back home at the end of the week.
Finally, they could take Allonia back home, it was finally Sunday. Becca walked into the room quietly as she gathered Allonia's belongings while Allonia changed from her hospital robe.
"Let's go Abdullah is waiting outside for us,"Becca told Allonia as she walked out of the washroom in colourful bright clothes she used to wear, with a blue veil over her head. The social worker and now Allonia's close friend shoved her last few belongings in a bag and grabbed Allonia's left elbow as they walked towards the door out of the room into the hallway filled with the hopelessly optimistic people waiting for their loved ones to recover. The little boy Abdullah had helped sat there with his mother and smiled when he saw Becca walking towards him. He ran towards the ladies.
"Hi!, I told your brother you'd be fine," said the boy cheekily to Allonia. The hazel eyed teen smiled back as she held onto Becca's arm for support.
"Thanks for praying, your prayer worked and your dad will be here with you very soon," replied Becca as she handed him a chocolate bar she took out of her bag. The boy smiled at the two ladies and bid them goodbyes as they left. Becca pushed the door for Allonia to step out and followed behind her.
