Wuddhu: A procedure of cleaning oneself Muslims perform before praying.

After running around the entire complex, they finally made their way back to the end of the street where Abdullah had parked his car. The three of them ran towards the car, momentarily looking over their shoulders to make sure no one was following them, Becca sat in the front with Abdullah while Allonia quickly hoped onto the backseat. As soon as they were inside, Abdullah turned on the ignition and drove towards Becca's house. "Did anyone see you while you were jumping out of the window?" asked Becca concernedly.

"I don't think so but I jumped out just when they broke in and they will notice the open window and displaced cabinet," he replied as he lowered the speed, driving cautiously now after crossing the mosque located at the end of Allonia's neighbourhood.

"We better get Allonia out of here as soon as possible, Sameera is in the same city, she will eventually find out about her brother and that will ultimately lead her towards Allonia!," exclaimed Becca looking back at Allonia worriedly. She was in the back seat staring out of the window quietly, every time one door of happiness opened for her there was always a door of sadness and fear she had to close.

"I'm going to try my best to get Allonia out of here as soon as possible, she deserves better and she will go to Canada very soon," replied Abdullah hopefully.

After about 15 mins Abdullah pulled up to Becca's front door, bringing the motor vehicle to a halt. "Allonia and Becca I want you both to be very safe so please don't open the door of the house without knowing who it is and promise me you will avoid leaving the house as much as possible, if you need anything just let me know," he said with concern filled eyes looking back and forth between Allonia and Becca for assurance. Both of them nodded promising him as they got out of the car, walking towards the house. Abdullah waited there for them to be inside before leaving for his press meeting. He gave news worldwide about Syria's situation, one of many civilians who were trying to spread awareness about Syria. Since his family had fled to Jordan, he had become friends with Becca, guiding her in here.

As soon as the two ladies walked in, Becca quickly locked the door behind her as she sat down beside Allonia on the sofa. "Are you okay?" asked Becca concernedly caressing her thumb over Allonia's soft hand.

"I don't know, Aunt Sameera will find me sooner or later and then both of you will get in trouble. I don't want you to get affected by a fire I have evoked," replied Allonia worriedly looking down in her lap with guilt.

" Allonia why do you feel like you are giving us trouble, we are together all three of us don't have families and if we don't look out for one another no one else will, Both of us love you and we know you deserve better," replied Becca assuringly. "Ok come on let's go make lunch already, my stomach is grumbling," she chuckled. Allonia nodded following her to the kitchen, the sink was filled with morning's dishes so Allonia started washing them while Becca made lunch. After drying the dishes with the crimson colored rag, Allonia headed towards the tiny bathroom in the living room, she stared at herself in the broken mirror hanging on the brick wall as she did wuddhu. She'd faced so much in the past 2 months, it was unbelievable, just 2 months ago she had lunch with an unknown lady which she now lived with and she was so fearless, she didn't care for her future because she had her dad that did everything for her. She was so blessed to always have people in her life guiding her towards the right path and looking out for her in the worst of times. She quickly completed wuddhu and headed out to the living room, laying out her prayer mat, she started praying, she asked God to give the best to Becca and Abdullah and fulfill all wishes their had. Folding the prayer mat as she got up, Becca walked out of the kitchen with that everlasting smile of hers embedded on her face, Allonia ran towards Becca giving her a bone-crushing hug as she thanked her. While they were embracing the beautiful moment suddenly a fork from the plate Becca was carrying dropped. Allonia quickly pulled away because of the clank of metal on the concrete floor, she looked down at the floor and then up at Becca apologetically for not realizing she was carrying lunch. Becca gave a little giggle and Allonia joined, all the problems they faced slowly washed away by their sweet melodic giggles.
