Many years ago, there was an incident at the Faction sectors' hospital. This rarely happened. All the doctors were on deck to help out with the unborn miracle, or disaster, whatever you would call this.
The mother was fighting for her life and the child's. She was a little girl. A young redheaded, pale skinned girl trying to enter the world safely, but nothing was happening, leaving them both in a critcal state.
She was pronounced dead in minutes. Obviously it was easier for the doctors to say that she was dead, but in fact, she was very much alive.
But the baby was still harder to deal with, much harder.
She was being cut out and into the world, but she found breathing harder than normal babies. So she was coughing as hard as she could, which wasn't very hard, but the doctors took no notice.
Except for me.
I was Dr. Welliser. I dealt with her, while she was kicking and thrashing around in my grasp, still coughing for air. I realised that something was wrong with her, but I never found out what it was. I said to the other doctors to not bring her father in to see her, they were completely clueless to why he couldn't, but they listened to me anyway. I helps her breathe normally, and then I laid her down into a little cot for a while. I tell my colleague:
"Take her to Amity, her cousins live there." and before I knew it, she was being carried away into a truck. An amity truck.
She had opened her eyes before then, and she was feeling like crying, but, she couldn't. She just couldn't cry.
Once she was wheeled out though, one thing took my eye. A small boy dressed in stiff clothes, around 5 or 6 years old was sitting there, eagerly waiting for a new baby sister or brother, but the little one never came for him. He had brown hair and deep, blue eyes, and that's all I could remember.
And that's when I see a tear trickle down his face.
And a tear trickles down her's too, before she was taken away to a yellow truck, to never be known to her family.

I was meant to update this a couple of days ago but it was really late... so I update now!

This is just sort of a freeflow series, even though it has a few parts in it...
