Avi POV
I was lying in bed, scrolling through my Twitter news feed on my phone. It was peaceful and very quiet, until Scott burst through my door. His eyes were red and his face seemed wet, almost like he was just crying.
"AVI! Get up and get dressed! We have to go to the hospital!" Scott yelled at me.
"What? Why?" I questioned.
"No time to explain, just get your lazy ass out of bed and into my car!" He screamed back as more tears threatened to spill out of his eyes.
I sighed and got up. I quickly threw on a jacket and ran out to Scott's car. He started his car and sped off to the hospital. I followed Scott inside, since he seemed to know where he was going. He opened on of the doors and I saw that Kevin and Mitch were already. It looks like they've been crying as well. Wait a minute, where's-
"Where's Kirstie?" I said, speaking my thoughts.
More tears streamed down Mitch's face as Scott pulled him into an embrace.
"Just look behind that curtain." Kevin whispered.
Realizing why we're all here, I suddenly get scared. Oh no, please, no... I gather up my courage and pull aside the thin layer of material that separated us from whatever laid on the bed behind it. I gasped as I stared at the terrifying sight that was in front of me. It was Kirstie, her once beautiful face, now had bruises, with bandages covering most of it. The rest of her was in a body cast. Her heart rate monitor was beeping very slowly. My own eyes began to water and I started to tremble. I sat down in the chair next to her bed and turned my head to my friends.
"W-what happened t-to her?" My voice was barely audible.
Scott drew in a breath and began to speak. "Well, I invited her over to Mitch and I home. She was on her way their when some douche-bag ran a red light a crashed into her side. And it's all my fault..." He was now sobbing uncontrollably.
"Come on dude, don't say that." I tried to comfort him.
"No. If I didn't invite her, this wouldn't have happened to her."
I scooted over to where he was sitting and pulled him into a hug. We stayed like this for a little while, until we heard some coughing.
"G-guys?" A small voice spoke.
"KIRSTIE!!!!" I whisper-yelled.
I ran to her side and put a hand on her head.
"Hey Avi." She tried to smile at me, but winced at the pain. "I think its time."
"NO! It can't be! It's much too early."
"I love you guys. Goodbye." Her eyes slowly drifted shut.
"No Kirst! Open your eyes! Please! You can't leave us now...." Tears were now rolling down my face, and it seemed that they would never stop. I heard a long beep and I turned my head to the heart monitor. The line was flat. Doctors rushed in and gently pulled my away from her to look at her lifeless body.
"Time of death, 10:32 P.M."
"NOOOOO-"
"OOOOOOO!!!!"
I sat up in my bed, drenched in sweat. I looked at my alarm clock, which read 2:47 A.M.
"Dude! What's wrong! You were yelling 'NO!'" Kevin ran through my door.
"Uhhh nothing. Bad dream, that's all." I motioned for him to get out of my room.
"Okay then. Night." He walked out of my room and left me.
I laid back in my bed with a grunt. I'll never let that happen to you, Kirst, I thought to myself, I love you to much to let that happen to you.
A/N What up guys? Yes, I have made another fan fic. I know that I still have Wizard of Ahhs and that I barely update it, but bare with my guys! Anyways, someone PMed me, and begged for me to write a Kavi fan fiction. They don't want to be known by their actual name, so you guys will know them as Stephano.
