Kirstie POV
I decided to call up the only other person who knows about my feelings for Avi. I searched everywhere for my phone but I couldn't find it.
"MITCH! SCOTT! HAVE YOU SEEN MY PHONE?" I yelled as I walked out into the world outside my room.
"Gah, you don't need to shout!" Scott came up from behind and handed me my phone. "It was on the bench. Now go text your boyfriend." He smirked.
I glared at him. "For the last time, he is not my boyfriend! I think it's about time you go text your girlfriend." I said, hoping that it would make him go away.
"Oh! Yeah, I probably should talk to Jaisele." He then runs off and talks to his girlfriend, aka, my cousin. I wonder how she's doing. We haven't talked in a long time.
I went back into my own little space of privacy and shut the door. *ring ring*
Normal - Kirstie Bold - Shauna
"Hello?"
"Shauna! Hey sis!"
"Wait, Kirst? Oh my gosh hey! How's it going?"
"I'm good thanks. Great, actually. Can I tell you something?" I asked nervously.
"Uhhh sure. Is this about Avi?" I can hear the smirk in her tone.
"W-what? No-I mean, uh, yes." I admitted.
"I knew it. Shoot."
"I hate you so much." She started laughing at the other end. "Oh, shut up will you? Anyways," I started to get nervous again and my voice began shaking, "well, I-I think I-no, I love Avi." I whispered.
"About time you realized it!" Shauna practically shouted.
"Wait, hold up, what do you mean by that?"
"Well, it's super obvious that you like him."
"It is? Darn it."
"Don't sweat it. I don't think anyone else knows though."
"Okay then. Thanks sis! I have to go now, but I'll talk to you soon! Bye."
"Bye!"
I hung up and flopped onto my bed. I just laid there, thinking about no one other than Avi. I've been wondering lately about all of this. The thing is, Avi would never like me back. Maybe if I find someone I might get Avi out of my head. Suddenly an idea popped into my head. I walked out to the lounge and joined the others on the sofa.
"Hey guys, how do feel about going out tonight? Just us three like old times."
They perked up at this idea and agreed. Time to have some fun.
Avi POV
I was sitting on my bed watching some YouTube videos. I wasn't really concentrating on it though, my mind was thinking of Kirstie. Why do I always like someone that would never like me back? I guess I should move on and find someone. I slipped on a jacket and walked out. I saw Kevin spread out on the couch watching some good old Avatar: The Last Airbender.
"Hey Kev, I'm just going out for a little bit."
"Okay." He said without taking his eyes off the screen.
I grabbed my keys off the kitchen counter and walked out of the house. Just as I unlocked my car another car pulled into the driveway. I started to get a bit anxious, but instantly relaxed once I saw the person get out of their car.
