Avi POV
I slammed my car door shut and locked it. I fumbled for my keys in my pocket, then proceeded to unlock the house. Kaitlyn, only a couple of weeks into being a couple, suggested that she moved in with me. I was "slightly" intoxicated, so I had no idea what I was saying at the time. Sadly, she kicked Kevin out, but luckily Scott let him stay with him.
"Babe, I'm back!" I called out as I set my keys on the kitchen counter top.
No answer.
Strange.
I'm usually greeted by Kaitlyn running at me, engulfing me in a bear hug. Where is that girl? I slid my jacket off and hung it on the sofa. I grab a water bottle from the fridge and settle down on the couch. My ears pick up a voice - no, two voices?! They seem to be coming from her bedroom. She could be watching some television, no need to worry. I try to reassure myself. I slowly push open the door, nearly dropping my bottle.
"WHAT THE HELL KAITLYN!!!" I screamed at the woman who is snogging another man.
"I, eurh, well, - I can explain! Uh." She stutters.
"No, save it. Just get out of my house. NOW!"
Kaitlyn and her mysterious man scrambled out, tripping over their feet to get out. Long after they're gone, I'm left all alone, panting. I could feel some of the blood that rushed to my head slowly recede. I dug my phone out of my pocket and searched for the right number.
*rang rang rang rang*
"Hey Kevin? Umm, well, you can move back in now, I'll tell you what happened when you're here. Please hurry."
"Sure bro, be there in ten." He answered before hanging up.
I scrolled through my contacts once more and found Kaitlyn's, deleting it. I walk out of the room and back into the lounge. I chuck my phone onto one of the sofas while I collapse face first onto another. I spun around so I'm facing the ceiling. The strange thing about all of this is that I'm not upset. I thought I loved her, but I guess I was wrong. I'm actually....glad.
I lifted my head to find Kevin walking through the front door. He spotted me lying on the couch and grins. "Hey bro! Nice to be back again. So, what did you want to tell me?" He questioned. He sat down on the other couch after putting his stuff in his bedroom. I sat up and told him the events that occurred when I came home.
