Mitch POV
We all piled in to Kevin's car because his is the biggest and we couldn't be bothered driving our own. Kevin, obviously, was driving with Scott riding shotgun. Kirstie sat in in the middle with Avi and I sat on either side of her, and if my eyes deceive me, she was sitting soooo much closer to Avi.
Kev parked the car and we hopped out. Scott, Kevin and I raced ahead, seeing who would get to the front of the restaurant first. Scott, with his freakishly long as legs, won. The two went inside to find a table. I glanced over my shoulder and smirked at Avi and Kirstie. With Kirst wrapping her arm around his waist and leaning her head on his shoulder, I swear those two have a thing or whatever. I wait for them before joining the others inside.
Kirstie POV
I took a seat and pat the one next to me. Avi sighed and sat himself down adjacent to myself. Soon enough we are already talking and laughing louder than other group in the room.As Scott and Mitch rambled on about Beyonce, I noticed that Avi hasn't said one word this entire evening.
"Come on, man, lighten up! We're in a barbecue place after all." I nudged him with my elbow, producing a small grin from his mouth. We kept shoving each other, laughing louder with each push. I pushed him into Kevin, who then spilt his drink on Scott. Me and Avi giggled and high-fived the other.
"WHAT. THE. FRICK. MAN." Scott was fuming.
"It was Avis fault! He pushed me!" Kevin defended himself.
Avi held his hands up in surrender. "Guilty as charged. But I am an emotional train wreck right now, so it would terrible of you to make me feel worse." He pulled an innocent look on his face, adding some puppy dog eyes, which made me giggle even more.
Scott narrowed his eyes at him then let go of his fork that he was gripping tightly. I gave Avi and thumbs up. A few minutes after making a scene the waiter came with our food.
Kev and I split the bill, no matter how many times Avi tried to pitch in with the paying. The five of us walk outside with full stomachs.
"Thank you so much guys for today. I really needed it." Avi spoke up.
"You're welcome dude. Today you are off the hook, but prepare for my revenge tomorrow." Scott shook his head, referring to the incident from earlier on.
"Can't wait." Avi teased and ruffle Scott's hair. It looked weird, seeing as Scott towers him.
"It's starting to get late now and I am tired as hell. Let's go." The others agreed with me with nods and mumbles of 'yeah, me too'. We get into the car in our same seating as before. My eyelids get heavy and I drift off to sleep, resting my head on Avi's chest.
