Mitch POV

We finally arrived back Avi and Kevin's messy abode. Just as I was about to get out of the car, I accidentally bumped a sleeping Kirstie's elbow, causing her to frown in her sleep and snuggle closer to her bearded-man-pillow.

Knowing they had to wake up and get their butts out of the car, I decided to have a little fun with this.

I quickly follow Scott and Kevin inside. I grabbed the nearest book I could find. I asked Scott to come outside to 'do me a favour.' Once he understood what I was planning, I opened the door that Avi wasn't leaning on.

One...

Two...

Three...

"OH MY GOD GUYS FIRE FIRE FIRE HELP US!!!!"

I started slamming the book on the empty spot next to them, screaming as loud as I possibly could. Kirstie jolts awake and her arms flail around. One arm smacks an already startled Avi, who then falls over. Scott quickly opens the other door, catching him before his face kissed the concrete. Scott helped him up off of the ground, and burst out laughing like a maniac. I joined him as tears rolled down my face. The other two glared at us. I managed to calm myself down, but Scott just kept on going. Avi punched his arm in hope to get him to shut up, but he just shrugged.

"I told you I was gonna get revenge, and here it is, thanks to Mitchie over there." Scott grinned mischievously before running back inside, with Avi hot on his trail.

"YOU ARE SO GONNA GET IT HOYING!!!!"

I laughed at them and turned my attention back to Kirstie. My child-like expression immediately changed into one of worry once I saw the look on her face. Her eyes were focused on her phone, and had an absolute look of pure terror etched on her features. She started to tear up as she shoved her phone back into her pocket. Seeing as she definitely didn't want to talk about it, I helped her out of the car, shut the door behind us. We walked back in the house together, greeted with the sight of Avi on Scott's stomach while watching TV, as if he wasn't even on our friend.

"It's nearly midnight already, so if you guys want, you can just crash here for the night." Kevin suggested. I answered on behalf of Scott and Kirstie.  I could tell they didn't want to drive back this late, so I agreed to the offer.  Plus, this makes it easier for me to ask Kirst what the hell happened that terrified her so much.  I shut my eyes, waiting for morning to come so I could ask her.
