3rd person POV
A golden haired girl stood in front of a class, nervously playing with her hands. She caught the eye of a certain brown hair boy who smiled an encouraging smile towards her. And her heart immediately calmed down. No, it should be better to say that it was always calm. Rather than calm, it would be more accurate to say, dead....."My n-name is Angel Pendegraft," she announced rather shyly. A few boys blushed at how cute, even the girls. 'Like a doll' they all thought. A doll that would shatter with a single touch.
"You can go sit down next to Damon," the teacher told her. Angel beamed and thought that her luck was really good.
"Has anybody seen Keme?" the teacher asked after taking attendence, when no one said anything he said, "and Silence?"
Third person's POV
It was rather a typical day......or not."What are you reading?" a silver haired boy asked from behind Silence.
Silence, who was used to the winds endless chatter, mastered the art of selective hearing, otherwise known as ignoring a person.
"Not many people ignore me you know?" he said with a faint smile. This girl really sparked his interests. You would think, because she ignored you? Of course not, he wasn't that egotistical. Rather, isn't she..... indeed that person didn't scam him with false information.
He was a curious person, and loved mysteries, therefor was curious to why she did what she did, he wasn't that bad was he. While he himself didn't think he was that bad, many others thought so. What truly interested him was the fact that she simply dissapeared without a warning.
He continued to stare at her, wishing to pry but unable to. It wouldn't be good if she suspected him.
"If i didn't know better, I'd say that you were a statue," he told her, for she didn't move an inch as he continued to talk to her one-sidedly. As if she didn't notice that he was there in the first place, that was when he realized, 'she doesn't realize that I'm here huh.'
'What could be more interesting than me?' he wondered to himself, peeking at the book that she was holding.
A demon needs a constant supply of energy which is abundant in their habitat. When brought to the human realm, they must constantly feed on magick or other living things. Completely draining their surroundings of magick, a saint could reverse this process.......
"Reading a book like that could mislead some people you know?"
"......."
Master, master. This guy is weird
Yeah, his aura is weird and his magick is running rather rampant.
Mmmmhmmm, he doesn't have any elements surrounding him.
Yeah, the last time I saw someone with an aura like that was the demon king.
Oh I still remember when we were in a party with a hero
Yeah, that was such a long time ago.
Mmmhmmm, it was rather fun, but then it took a romantic turn.
At this point, Silence finally realized that there was someone behind her. She glanced up to see a very handsome boy with silver hair with a blue eye, as the other was covered with an eyepatch. Ah, without a drop of killing intent, not even a hidden one, no wonder he was able to creep up on her.
He flashed a shaming smile at her that would've made most girls swoon or blush furiously. She found him uninteresting and went back to reading, though this time her gaurd was up.
Meanwhile, the silver haired boy was flabbergasted at her reaction which was unexpected. Although he wouldn't know if she were blushing, girls would usually state for a rather long period, or start stuttering, there were even some that would shamelessly flirt with him, but never was there a girl that would disregard him so balantly. It truley aroused his interest. He then calmed himself down, she could be gay, or asexual, it definantly wouldn't be the first time.
Or he didn't fit her taste, there were those that prefer muscular men rather than a pretty boy like him.
"What's your name?"
"........"
"Very well, play it like that. I will find out what your name is."
Time skip (few days later)
"So your name is Silence huh. Certainly suits you." Then a though occured to him."Are you by any chance, mute?"
"......"
"Since you didn't react I'll take that as a no. Maybe you just have a horrible voice."
'Still no reaction. What will it take for her to have a reaction?"
Time skip (one day after)
"I brought a book this time.""......"
"Its about the theory of contaracting other species like demons or fairies."
Silence glanced up slowly, not noticing the faint smile of the person holding it.
She continued to stare at it, hoping to deliver her message. 'Please give the book,' her despearate eyes seem to say. The silver haired boy gave a michievous smile, not letting go of the book as they had a stare-off.
"Please?" a hoarse voice asked, the unused vocal chords doing their best to produce that sound. It was hoarse, but sweet, like smoke that came from cedar.
"What is this? The mute can talk after all."
He then realized that she had swapped the books without his knoweledge.
He chuckled to himself, so that patience of hers is just a facade.
