Chapter 4: Achieving a wish

After school, Beatrice went straight to the drama club knowing she wouldn't want to be late this time.

"Oh look. Little miss want to be did not come late this time." Said Tiffany from where she was standing with her friend when Bea walked in.

She had this certain ego that always made Bea hate her attitude.

"Get a life Tiffany." Said Beatrice so annoyed that she wanted to punch her. But she wasn't worth all her energy and dignity.

"Ha! Ha! Ha!" She laughed sarcastically "Oh. We will see who's going to get a life when someone does not get the main role in the drama."

Tiffany and her friend Lily have always got the main role in every drama since kindergarten. They were the most popular students in the school. People even gave them a nick name called the drama Queens. Either Tiffany got the main role and Lily the second role or the other way around.

Bea was always the third or fourth role since kindergarten to primary. But this time Bea was determined to get the main role even though she knew that the high school dramas were really hard than the primary ones, she still knew that she had the ability and enthusiasm to get it.

Mrs Nanking started to explain the drama to the children.

"This story is about a young lady named Carmen who goes with her father to a tour around the world where they discover amazing things. So I need the main character to be enthusiastic, know lots about touring and to be an adventurous person. I have already found the prefect person to do the part as the father in the story and I have bought him here today. Introducing my son Peter. " She gesture to the tall fit white guy with a charming but yet mysterious facial expression.

He gave them a warm smile and waved. "He is thirty six years old and you need to find a special bond with him so that you work well together."

Mrs Nanking was winnowing then time to time. Soon only a few people where left and Beatrice was one of them. At the end, after a lot of hard work that took a lot of ambition and courage, she ended up getting the main role. What really made her proud of herself was the she had done it without any magic. She did it with pure talent.

The drama Queens where very mad when they found out that none of them got the main roles. They almost burst out with anger.

During break in the food court, everyone was buzzing gossiping about the drama Queens not getting the main role. Everyone thought it was impossible for someone else to get the role when competing against the drama Queens. It was just impossible.

When Tiffany entered the food court, the buzzing got worse. There were a few people who were staring at her with disappointment. Mostly her friends. Her anger started to increase. Someone said a wisecrack about her and everyone started to laugh. This made her lose her temper.

"What's the matter? What are you looking at? Huh?"

This just made the laughing to accelerate. This was so ridiculing that Tiffany wasn't going to stand. She started to feel like her face was on fire and her hands began to sweat. Beatrice walked in the food court and Everyone started to clap for her. Tiffany was standing in front of everyone, panting with anger

"Why is everyone clapping? " Bea asked her friends who were standing beside her but before they could reply, Tiffany had already lost her temper. She had gone to where Bea was and started shouting at her.

"You miserable envious main role stealer!" Look at what you have done!" She screamed.

Bea started losing her temper too. If she could control her necklace, she would have probabaly done something like turn her into a toad, or wish for her head to explode into a million pieces.

A Couple of day later at the drama club.

Now that the drama talent show was going to take place the following day after so many rehearsal, after the last rehearsal, Mrs Nanking took the students to the dressing room to pick out the outfits they were going to wear for the talent show. There was so much to choose from but Bea manged to pick out just the right ones that matched her role and Mrs Nanking agreed they were the perfect outfits.

She picked about five outfits. The first was a purple dress that had sparkles. The other was a brown short and a brown shirt and jersey for touring, then the casual outfits which were jeans and a white t-shirt, a leather black skirt and and grey t-shirt and and pink jacket and then a black long dress.

By the time they could go home, it was pretty late in the evening.
