They went to Carly's house and asked Carly's dad take them to the wizard's house since be was the only one that knew the directions. He surprisingly didn't have a problem with it. He didn't even ask for the reason they wanted to go there. He just said, "Okay, we better go before it gets late."

But the tricky part for Bea, Cloe and Carly was making sure that Carly's dad didn't find out about Bea's necklace.

The wizard's house was said to be the scariest place in the whole universe. People said that the wizard's house had ghost, dead skeletons and dead bodies that had been killed by the wizard's magic. But there were just myths and rumors. The wizard was actually a really nice person who just loved magic to the fullest.

The wizard's house

"This is the scariest place I have ever seen, but it looks pretty familiar. " Said Beatrice with wide open eyes that seemed like they would pop out of her eyelids.

They were standing outside the house. There were not a lot of houses around. I guess it was because no one had the bravery to live close to where the wizard lived. It looked like they were in the middle of nowhere.

"That's because you know it. They used to tell us scary stories about it when we where in the third grade. And remember when they took us on a school trip to this house and you got so scared that you locked yourself up in your bedroom for the whole day." Carly said

"Oh my lord, now I remember! It's that place with dead skeletons, ghost and dead people. Why would you take us here?" She shrieked looking at her with her brown eyes.

"Sorry. I knew you would not want to come if I told you. Those are all just rumors. There aren't any skeletons ghost or dead people."

"Oh, great." Cloe exhaled

"You're scared too?" Carly laughed.

"What do you think? And it's not funny." She rolled her grey eyes.

"Come on girls. Don't be afraid." Said Carly's dad who was ahead of them.

"How are we going to get your dad out of sight? He can't find out that I have a magical necklace." She said in a whisper.

"I'll figure something out." Carly said not sure how she was going to accomplish that. But her dad wasn't one to get suspicious easily.

When they got into the wizard's house, it was dark which made it scary.

"Why is it so dark?" Asked Bea

"Come on Bea. Do you want to learn how to control your necklace or what?" Asked Carly in a whisper in that same old stop-being-a-baby tone.

Her dad was standing right next to her but didn't seen to have heard anything.

As if it wasn't as scary as it seemed, Carly scurried along what seemed like a hallway so casually. Her dad followed behind her.

"Are you coming? " She said to her friends who were standing at the doorway afraid to move and inch.

Bea almost felt like she was in one of those thriller movies. She never liked the ideas of horror movies especially the comedy ones. For her, it was someone trying to make it seem as if having a monster chase you to kill you was something normal and funny.

The wizard's house was very big. When they walked in, they did not know the direction they should go. It was so quite. Bea had tried to get her way through what seemed like something wooden. She couldn't tell where she had ended up and the rest were no where to be seen. Actually not at all to be seen
