Chapter 13 : We Fit

The rest of our weekend without the kids went smoothly and the following couple of weeks have been really great as well. Ed has even gone to a few of the kids' games incognito of course but we've done quite well not being noticed.

Its Saturday, I'm making breakfast and Ed is running through the house screaming "Wake up, the aliens are coming." As I prepare my first home cooked English breakfast I just giggles erupting from upstairs and makes me laugh as well. I've been trying to make more traditional English foods, Ed enjoys it and the kids have actually liked the things we've done on the weekend so today we're trying breakfast even though I think it is so weird having beans in your breakfast.

Ed and the children come running into the kitchen giggling then Ed stops abruptly in front of me. "Oh no, the aliens have got your mum, run!!!!" They all fumble out of the kitchen and I stand there contemplating my next move as I finishing plating breakfast. I took all of the food to the dining room as Ed and the children were in the front room running around and then just sat at the table blank faced.

Ed walked in, saw me, called the children, and they all came to sit at the table. "Can you pass the food babe?" Ed asked, I remained motionless and silent. "Uh Nic?" He questions. Still nothing, "MOOOOOM????" Yells Jake, but I stay still. "Ok Nic seriously." I turn to face him blank faced and say flatly "Nic is gone, I'm an alien." Ed rolls his eyes at me and the children giggle as I start passing the food around roboticly and Ed mocks me.

We go through breakfast this way and the children giggle the whole time. I go to wash the dishes and the children run up to get ready for the day, Ed comes into the kitchen wrapping his arms around my waist. "You know I think I've got a way to get this alien out of my girlfriend." I eye him questioning "And what way is that human?" Ed smirks replying "I could fuck the alien out of you." I roll my eyes at him "You're not as comical as you believe you are human." Ed shrugs and sulks up the stairs to get ready.

I finish up the dishes and head upstairs to start my day, Ed's parents are coming for lunch again and so we're going to get as much quality time as we can in before they arrive. I walk into Ed's bedroom to find he's showering, I slip into the restroom with him and undress quietly before slipping into the shower. "Nic! Christ, you scared me!" I giggled moving into the water stream and wetting my face, "Sorry Eddie."

I dip my head back wetting my hair and close my eyes when I feel arms around my waist and smile. "Is my girlfriend back yet?" I nod laughing and Ed smiles kissing my neck, "Hm I missed you." He pulls me closer to him and out of the water and I smile opening my eyes, "Uhuh so much you'd have fucked her to get me back." Ed scoffs "You know I was talking to you babe."

I laugh turning to face him and he stops my thoughts by pressing his lips to mine. I wrap my arms around his neck moving my lips with his as the water runs down my back and Ed's tongue slides into my mouth. Ed pulls his lips away from mine and smiles "You're perfect babe." I laugh shaking my head and get ready to get out of the shower.

As Ed and I are getting dressed he comes up behind me and hugs me tightly whispering "I love the way we flow together so well on the weekends baby." I smile rubbing his arms and nudge my cheek against him. "What do you mean Eddie?" "You, the kids, and I, we just work. Its like we've always been together." I smile nodding "Cos you're easy to get along with Eddie."

We were all having lunch out in the garden because it was a beautiful day when Ed's mother says "Nicole do you think John and I could take the children to the water park today? Its a beautiful day and we've been wanting to spend more time with them." "Oh Mrs. Sheeran do you really want to take on all three of them?" "I told you to call me Imogen and yes we're certain! Come on, let us have some fun!" "Alright then I suppose but you children need to behave and listen to Mr. and Mrs. Sheeran!"
