On Saturday I spent my whole day playing with my hair and trying on different outfits, hoping to impress Emily. I settled on a muscle tee and my beige khaki shorts, I wanted to show off what I had to Emily. I sat around waiting for the time to roll onto 6:30, because that was the time we agreed on. I was scrolling through Instagram, looking at all the photos everyone posted from a party that happened at Kendall Stealls's house. Kendall was the richest kid in school, she had no problem showing off her designer clothes and her grey mat Tesla. As I looked through all the photos I saw Addison in Kendall's photo, posing with Sophia and Joe. My heart started to ache when I saw Addison under Joe's arm. She looked stunning in her black lace tank top and ripped jeans. Addison's outfit hugged her body well, showing off her curves. I was still in love with Addison, but I was in love with Emily as well. But I was sure that Addison was moving on, so I might as well try as well. Addison was slowly changing into a completely different girl, more talkative, more risque clothing and a brand new attitude. Before Addison would get uncomfortable around other guys and my friends, but now she's getting all this attention from the guys in all grades and she seems to be enjoying it.

I started headed to Reese's Diner around 6:20 and made it there on time. I was there before Emily, so I ended up waiting for her, for five minutes. Emily came rushing in the diner and sat down across me. "I'm so sorry I'm late, something happened back at home,"

"It's okay, don't worry." I said reassuringly.

Emily flattened her yellow dress and sighed. "Okay, I'm really sorry though. I was scared you would of left."

"Oh no, it's fine really." I said passing her a sandwich.

Emily picked up the sandwich and took a small bite. "This is really good." she said, as she swallowed the bite she took.

"Yeah, I know. I'm usually not a fan of sandwiches to be honest. I prefer candy, soda, etc."

"Oh my gosh, same! But I stick on a very strict diet. I need to stay in shape."

"But you're perfect!" I practically shouted.

Emily looked down blushing and smiled a bit. "Thanks, but I need to stay in shape for volleyball."

"Oh."

"I love volleyball! You play basketball, don't you?"

"Yeah I-"

"My ex played basketball and he one time I didn't show up to his game and like he flipped his shit on me,"

"Oh."

"Yeah and that's why we broke up, I wasn't going to allow him to treat me like that!"

"Yeah, I guess you're right-"

"Damn right, I'm right!" Emily said interrupting me for a second time. "Last week I went to the mall with Addison and her friend Sophia, and honestly it was such a drag. Addison was spending so much cash on stuff, like this girl is going to do shit in life," I thought about when Addison and I went to the mall as our date, it was fun watching her pick out clothes and try them on. I felt a wave of sadness wash over me, but I just merely nodded. "Addison is really pretty, but the more money she wastes the uglier she'll get. Sophia though is annoying, all she wanted to do was eat! Sophia is kinda fat, to be honest. If she keeps eating she'll weigh six hundred pounds and we can find her on that TV show "My Six Hundred Pound Life". I would die laughing!"

"She's not fat really, just fuller." I protested. I know Sophia and I were on really bad terms, but I wasn't going to let her say such mean stuff about Sophia.

"Okay, whatever you say. Did you go to Kendall's party on Friday? Everyone from school was there!" Emily was pretty much shouting. The older people were looking back at us with disturbed looks.

"No, I had to help out my mom with-"

"Oh my gosh, it was such a blast! People were swimming, there was vodka and beer, which was the good stuff. I heard that some people ended up crashing at Kendall's place because they were really drunk!"

Everyone around us were giving us disgusted looks now, probably because they heard her go on about people getting drunk and all that jazz.

The date ended around 8 o'clock, the date was okay. I never really had a chance to talk though, Emily steered the conversation and interrupted me what seemed like a million times. I drove Emily home and headed right back to my place, with a grand smile on my face. Why, you may ask. Well, because Emily asked me to be her boyfriend. I know it was a little too soon, but I needed a distraction from Addison. I also had feelings for Emily, but I was still in love with Addison. My plan is that now since I'm with Emily, I would forget about Addison.
