A month passed by and I was still with Emily. The past month we've been together it was okay, except Emily would always interrupt me and never gave me a chance to really talk. Sometimes Addison would pop up in my mind, I still missed Addison. But I'm with Emily now, so why can't I push Addison aside? I love Emily, but I still love Addison and I can't decide who to go after. I've told myself that Emily is better than Addison and Addison has moved on, but I still crave Addison. I have thought about letting Emily go and try to get Addison back. But the school is saying Addison and Joe are dating now. I've never seen them act like a couple when I pass by, but I've heard a few things from Josh and all them.
Emily and I sat down to lunch with the rest of her friends, coincidentally right behind Addison's table. Addison sat with Sophia and the rest of her new friends. Addison was a completely different person as far I could tell, by the way she dressed and who she hangs out with now.
"Parker, look!" Emily pointed at one of the girls down the table. The girl had a giant red stain on her bright yellow t-shirt, with another's girl lunch poured all over the table.
"Are you okay?" I asked, as I ran up to her with napkins that I had left on my tray. I wiped the stain off the girl's shirt the best I could, but I ended up making it worse. "Oh my god, I'm sorry!"
"It's okay, don't worry!" The girl said laughing, as she pushed my arm away. "I'll just change into my gym shirt,"
I nodded and sat back down in my seat. I saw Addison looking over at me, with Sophia. I locked eyes with Addison, her blue eyes shined brightly. I saw a smile crept up from the corner of Addison's mouth. I smiled back a bit to her, as she waved slightly. Sophia gave me a disgusted look, but she seemed to calm down slowly.
Emily tugged on the collar of my shirt roughly. "Parker!"
"What?" I looked down at Emily, she looked pissed off with me. I swear if it was because I helped the poor girl or just looking over at Addison, I will be pissed as well.
"I- nothing. . . forget it." Emily said in a mumble.
I got up from the table and walked away, rolling my eyes. Emily followed me out to the hallway and called my name repeatedly. I ignored her and kept on walking, I knew where this will lead if I stopped.
"Parker stop fucking walking and listen to me!" Emily grabbed a hold from the back of my shirt and made me face her. "Can you fucking chill!"
"Stop Emily, my god!"
"What the fuck is up with you?" Emily rolled her eyes and placed her hands on her hips. "You just made me look like I'm dating some ticking time bomb!"
"Excuse me? Emily you were about to start a argument with me in front of your friends, so that would of made you look like the ticking time bomb."
Emily crossed her arms and stomped her left foot. "No I didn't! You should learn to keep your hands to yourself and control who you're staring at!"
"I was helping out your friend who got pasta sauce all over her shirt, and Addison was looking at me first!" I threw my hands in the air and sighed.
"So you're still in love with her!"
"What? No!" I said quickly. I was still love Addison, but I was in love with Emily as well. "I love you and you know that!"
Emily pulled me down and kissed me. Other people were walking by watching the kiss, but one person who was watching stood out. Dennis. He rushed over and pried Emily off of me. "What the fuck was that!" Dennis said angrily.
Emily looked up at Dennis and her face went beet red. "I- it- I- I'm- it wasn't me!"
"Actually no that was you!" It took me a second to realize what was going on, but once I did I knew I was fucked. Dennis and Emily were dating and Emily and I were dating. She was cheating on me with Dennis and she was cheating on Dennis with me! I swear to fucking god, why am I always in cheating situations?
Emily gave me a nasty glare. "Don't lie Parker!"
"I'm not!" I protested. "Dennis, man I swear I had no idea you guys were dating. I swear!"
Dennis gave me the finger and looked back at Emily. "I saw you kiss him first off, you might want to invest on some glasses because I saw the whole thing go down! Second of all I'm done with you Emily, this is probably the third fucking time you have done this!" Dennis stomped his way down the hall cursing to himself. "Emily you're such a hoe! Why did I take you back? I don't even fucking know!"
The other guys nodded in a agreement with Dennis's comment. "Third time, my god" "Once a hoe, always a hoe!" some people said laughing. Emily stood there wide eyed, because she got dumped in front of a huge crowd of people. "Parker I'm so sorry, I-"
"No." I started walking away from Emily, down the hall. "I'm not doing this."
I was stared down by other kids, as I kept moving on. Some of them were clapping and cheering, some were giggling with their friends, some of the girls were in a group gossiping about Emily and the rest were acting like they're invisible.
I was beyond mad right now, I was mad at everything. Emily, the world, Addison, Sophia, just everything. I was hurt before when Addison left me, I'm still hurt by it every time I think about her. I wasn't hurt by Emily, instead I was mad and careless. I was mad at Emily, but at the same time I didn't even care that she cheated on me and us breaking up.
