I laid my head on his shoulder and took a deep breath, gathered up the courage and said "I love y-"

Parker pulls me into a hug and sobs hard into my shoulder whispering "I'm so sorry Addison" I wrap my arms around him tightly and started to cry with him quietly.

Parker lifted his head up and wiped the tears of his face.

"Parker. I love you."

I looked at him nervously and watched his eyes widen, I wasn't sure if it was in a good way or a bad way. I felt the urge to cry again as he sat there speechless. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I thought he wasn't interested in me and I just admitted loving him and yet he didn't love me that way. I turned my face away and look over at the family at the playground wishing I didn't just tell him that.

"Addy." I shake my head no biting my lip trying to stop myself crying but I couldn't help it.

"Addy don't act like this, please listen" I kept shaking my head, now crying hard and shaking.

"Addison Davis look at me!"

"no..."

Parker grabs me and makes me face him. "Addison Davis! I love you too!"

Parker leans his head down quickly and placed his lips on mine and his hands on my hips pulling me close. I close my eyes and hold onto Parker's arms. I kept on crying and I couldn't help but smile during the kiss. Parker pulls his lips off mine and look at me smiling with his hands still on my hips, I wipe the tears off my face and smiled, I was trying to process what just happened. I didn't quite understand what happened but whatever just happened it was amazing.

Parker and I walked back home together and stopped at the front door, Parker held the doorknob and smiled down at me. "Yes...?"

"you're just so damn pretty"

I felt my face go red and giggled a bit smiling. "yeah not right now, I have makeup stains all over my face"

"no, no you're still pretty"

I rolled my eyes and walked inside smiling. Lou stood at the top of the stairs and watched Parker and I walk in giggling.

"you guys were gone for awhile"

Parker looks at Lou and lets out a loud sigh "mo-"

I tug on Parker's arms gently and walked him to the living room before they started an argument. Lou walked into the living room dressed quite nicely, she was wearing a navy blue dress that suited her quite well, her hair was all done up nicely with her curls bouncing and the fly a ways were gone, her makeup was done real nice and she had a smile on her face.

"Parker I'm going on a date tonight with someone I met at the store last week, so you guys be good"

The doorbell rings and Lou opens the door, there stood a man quite big, with dark brown messy hair. It took me a second to realize who it was but once I did my jaw dropped. It was my father. My father looked over and saw me sitting with Parker and waved to me smiling, Parker leaned me against his chest and held my hand, he knew about my dad, with my dad's drinking problems and the emotional abuse.

"Oh Addy is that your boyfriend?" Lou looked back at us and smiled

"I guess so" I gave my dad a dirty look and looked away from him,

"you haven't changed Addy, always giving off attitude, you should see how she would act on her period" Lou and my dad laughed and walked out and drove off.

Parker and I laid on the couch together and watched movies together with every kind of junk food imaginable, skittles, pringles, popcorn, coke, arrow bars. Today was crazy, Lou and Parker arguing, Lou and my dad currently going on a date and Parker and I getting together. That kiss was the best thing that happened today, I wonder how tonight would of ended if we've never kissed, maybe we would of been mad at each other still, or everything would've been okay just wouldn't end up in this spot together.
