I awoke to Alex's voice on the other side of the door, she was going on about the next school soccer game that she was really excited about. She was either telling one of her friends over the phone or a full on conversation with herself, I was hoping she was on the phone.

"Yes," Alex said with a sequel. "You have to come Addison! Please, it's right after school!"

I sat up in bed as I heard Addison's name come out of Alex's mouth. "Addison?" I said in a clueless tone.

I'm pretty sure Alex heard me, because as soon as I finished saying "Addison" everything went silent. After a second Alex began chatting again with Addison over the phone. But in more of a deeper tone, a quite serious tone that Alex will only use in awkward situations. I listened into Alex's conversation, but Alex's voice became more distance each second. Shortly after I couldn't hear anything except for mom and Lindsey playing tag together, shouting "You're it!"

I walked into homeroom and saw Addison sitting in the corner, chatting up a storm with the most prettiest girl in our grade Emily. Emily was stunning, she had her ombre hair pouring over her shoulders just about to land over her breasts, her grey eyes lit up the room and she had a amazing figure. I know in stories they always have a pretty girl, but there is always just one flaw, like her bottom lip was a bit too big or her forehead. But not with Addison or Emily, they're both perfect. I can't point out a flaw from Addison nor Emily. When I first laid eyes on Emily I had some sort of crush on her, but Addison came into my life and I completely forgot about Emily.

As the teacher walked in Emily walked over beside the empty seat next to me, where Addison use to sit. Addison distanced herself away from me and switched her spot with Emily, that way she wouldn't have to deal with me. In a way I was kind of glad she switched seats, because I can sit next to Emily. But I was some what hurt, with the fact she didn't want me around at all. Emily looked over at me as she sat down and waved politely. I didn't notice her wave, I was caught up with her grey eyes shining looking into mine. I looked away quickly and looked over at Addison who sat across the room peacefully finishing up the homework from yesterday. I was still in love with Addison, everything about her I love. She was beautiful. But I lost it all, I should of known what was coming. I looked back over at Emily who was doodling on a piece of paper, she was beautiful too.

Once the last bell rang, I met up with my group of friends at "Andy's Subs", a little sandwich shop that was only a block away. I walked in and found everyone sitting in a booth in the far right corner. Cole waved over to me, motioning for me to come sit down. I gladly walked over with the best smile I could do and sat down next to Cole, he passed me over a sub and smiled. A sympathetic smile. Cole has to be one of the nicest and supportive person I have ever met. He's not the most popular person, which in a weird way made me glad. I took a bite out of the sandwich, it tasted rough and was really salty. But I pretended to enjoy it and sat the sandwich down gently on the paper plate. All the guys were giving me looks of disappointment, sympathy and disgust. "Yeah?"

"Is everything okay?" I said slowly.

Jaxon shook his head with disappointment. He reached over for my sandwich and took a bite. "You lost a real gem Parker," He said, swallowing the sandwich. "your dumb ass went and met up with your ex, and you made out with your ex. Addison now caught you and now you're single!"

"Yeah, I know. It wasn't a make out session though." I mumbled.

"Yeah, yeah. Listen up bud," Jaxon said finishing the last of the sandwich. "you don't need Addison. you can get way better girls than her."

"Addison is really hot though." Josh commented.

All the guys nodded their heads in agreement, which made me feel jealous. I was always proud before when the guys called Addison hot or compliment her, but now knowing my friends have a shot with Addison I felt jealous and anger rise.

"Listen Parker we're here for you bud. You made a mistake and she couldn't accept that it was a mistake." Cole said, as he patted my back.

"Did you guys hear about Emily Hearken today?" Josh said with excitement. All the guys listened in. "She was apparently hanging out with Dennis at his place last night, and I heard they are dating now!"

All the boys awed when they heard that and laughed at the thought of Emily with Dennis. I felt like I knew where their minds were wandering to.

I got up and started heading out the door. I was tired and I just wanted to go home and relax. As I walked away I overheard Jaxon say "Joe is planning on asking Addison out." I felt my heart ache when I heard Jaxon. Joe was a popular senior and was loved by lots of girls, though he had rejected most, Meghan included. I was worried that Joe would actually ask her, knowing that there was a possible chance of her saying yes.
