Everything ended like that. Just like that.
All the pain, sufferings, and loneliness had blown away.
Everything was settled. That’s what I thought.
But I was wrong.
It’s been six years since that incident.

“Ken! Look at this kid!” iniharap saakin ni Emerald ang munti naming prinsipe dito sa palasyo. Ang kayamanan ko.
He smiled playfully.
I chuckled.

“Dad, I wassh jusht pyaying wittth Fyame.” (I was just playing with Flame)
My 4-year old child.

“Uurrrgh! Ken! Don’t let him besmirched! Ang dungis niya oh! Hindi mo siya binabantayan ng maayos eh!” asik ni Emerald.
Natawa ako ng mahina.

“Why so strict Emerald? Let him do what he wants. He’s a kid. Let him play.”

Kumawala ang anak ko sa pagkakahawak ni Emerald at tumakbo palapit saakin.

“Daaaaaaaaaad~ I want to pyay wittth Icshe tooo” (play with Ice too) he said.

“But Ice is not here. Wait till he get here, okay?”
Nakangiting tumango si Kei Zinblake.
Ewan ko ba kung bakit yan ang naisip ng asawa ko na ipangalan sa anak ko -_-
Yung Kei, galing sa crush niyang anime. Psh. Zinblake naman, trip niya raw.

Kei got his eyes from his mom. His lenses were large, like his mother.
Actually, -_- he really look like his mom. I think?
“Psh. By the way, where’s everyone?”- Emerald.
Nagkibit balikat ako.

“Tsk.” Napailing nalang si Emerald at dumiretso sa malawak na kusina ng palasyo.
Day off ng mga tagasilbi ngayon. And yeah. Uso ang day off dito -_-

“Ken! Blake! Come over here! I’ll prepare you guys a food!” sigaw ni Emerald mula sa kusina.

“Ooppsh.. foooooood~” napahinto ang anak ko sa paghakbang palabas.

Humarap siya sa direksiyon ng kusina habang kumikinang ang mata.
I chuckled. He’s really a cute kid.

“Come Blake, let’s go the-----“ bago ko pa matapos ang sasabihin ko, kumaripas na siya ng takbo papunta sa dining area. -_-
Sumunod nalang ako. Hyperactive kiddo. Tsk.
Nakabukas ang double door ng dining area kaya tuloy lang ako sa pagpasok.
Hindi ko mahagilap si Blake dito. Napatingin ako sa isa pang double door dito rin mismo sa loob ng dining area. Naamoy ko ang niluluto ni Emerald. Ang bango. She’s really good in cooking.
Tinungo ko ang double door at naabutan kong nakatunghay si Blake sa niluluto ni Emerald.
Ginulo ko ang buhok ni Blake pagkalapit ko sakanila.

“What’s that?” I asked her.

“Chicken adobo.” She said then smiled.

“YUM YUM!” Blake said with full of excitement..

“We’ll just wait you at the dining area” sabi ko at binuhat na si Blake.

Iniupo ko si Blake sa tabi ng seat ko.
Tinitigan ko ang anak ko.
He really looks like her.

“Dad, I want tho dwink coke”-Blake. (I want to drink coke)
Coke.  Blair. I felt like missing her.

It’s been 6 years, and we already moved on. We already have a new life.
All of us suffered that time but now, it was just a memory. An unforgettable one.
Tumayo ako sa kinauupuan ko at nagtungo sa ref. Naglabas ako ng isang bottled coke for Blake.
Buti nalang at imposible ang sakit na Acid at UTI sa mga bampira. Pfft.

Saktong pagbalik ko sa seat namin ni Blake:

“Takishima baby~ Pahug nga si mommy! Hmmmm! so, how’s your day, my prince?”
She firmly hugged Blake. And the kid did the same too.
-_- tsk. Why does she keep on calling him Takishima? Psh. His name is Kei Zinblake for God’s sake!
