You wake up in the Med bay, you snap your finger beside your ear to make sure it works, it does. You stand up, forgetting you were shot in the leg. Pain rushes through you body and you try to hop over to Raven's cruthes. You adjust them and make your way to the bar. You see Clarke and Bellamy talking over a map of Mount Weather.
You try to get up on the stool without hurting your leg, but to no avail.
"Need some help Firegirl?" Murphy asks from behind you.
"No, and I have a name." You reply.
"I know, I just gave you a better one." He says with a smile. He sits on the stool beside you. Then Finn sits on the stool on the other side of you. Seeing Finn made you jump back a bit, making you lose balance. Murphy quickly leans out and catches you.
"You're sure you don't need help?" Murphy asks again.
"Maybe a little..." You say embarrassed. Murphy easily picks you up and puts you on the stool. Finn gets up and walks toward Clarke and Bellamy.
"Got to go Firegirl, don't fall." Murphy grins and gets up and walks after Finn. Just as they leave, Bellamy comes your way. Great.
"What are you doing out of the med bay?" Bellamy questions.
"Living." You say and roll your eyes. Bellamy took great offense to that.
"You have a bullet in your leg__"
"HAD a bullet in my leg." You cut him off.
"Well it's a good thing you brought crutches." Bellamy says releaved. You push the crutches onto the floor. Bellamy gives you an annoyed face.
"Why would you do that?" Bellamy asks disappointedly.
"Because I don't need you monitoring every part of my life." You say raising your voice a bit.
"Well someone has to protect__"
"I don't need protecting!" You say raising your voice even louder. Finn comes over and sits on the other side of you again.
"Leave her alone Bellamy." Finn says defending you.
"Oh, so you think you get to come over here and pretend to be her friend?" Bellamy starts.
"No, but I can come over here and protect her from a madman."
"I'M THE MADMAN? I'M NOT THE ONE WHO SHOT UP A GROUNDER VILLAGE AND HURT HER IN THE PROCESS!" Bellamy Argues as he raises his voice louder. you saw him clentching his fist, and you knew you haf to intervene before he hurt somebody.
"Finn enough." You scold.
"Oh, so now your defending him?" Finn yells.
"Finn I said enough."
"I'm trying to defend you."
"ENOUGH Finn." Bellamy cuts in.
"Fine, but just remember that this guy arrested you, and had you sent down to Earth to die." Finn says standing up and walking away.
You start to feel tears form in your eyes, you look over to Bellamy who looked at you with a face full of regret. All that sadness washed off your face. Finn hurt Bellamy, and he was going to pay.
You jump off the stool and walk towards him and pull him around to face you. He was shocked, just a few moments ago you were having trouble getting on a stool, and now you were jumping off it and walking.
Before Finn can say a word you punch his face, breaking his nose. As you're about to punch him again, someone grabs your arm.
"Hey, stop it." Bellamy says trying to calm you down. How could he be so calm, did he not hear Finn just bring that up?
"Well, well, Firegirl has an attitude." Murphy chuckles.
"Shut up Murphy." Bellamy tells him.
All the mixed emotions confused you, You were angry, Bellamy was calm, and Murphy was amused. So you just punched Finn again. You don't know why.
"Hey Kess Calm down." Bellamy says pulling you off Finn again and forcing you to face him. His friendly and caring eyes are filled with fear and regret. You feel tears well up in your eyes. Bellamy lets you loose and you run to your room, crying from the pain in your leg and in your heart.
"Kes come back." Bellamy runs after you, but before he reaches you, you slam the door to your room in his face. You hear him pound the door.
"Kes open up!" You hear him yell. "KESIA......KESia........KEsia....Kesia..." you heard him call your name, everytime he grew quieter, until all you heard was him slidding down the door. And you did the same.
5 minutes pass and you don't hear anything. Believing Bellamy had left, you stand up and open the door. Bellamy looks at you with sorrow and regret covering his face. You have never seen him in so much pain before. It broke your heart.
He stands up and walks toward you, before you can say anything, he pulls you into a tight hug. Knowing there would be no way to pry him off, you basically carry him to the bed then close the door. He lets go and you sit beside him. You lay his head in your lap.
"I'm so sorry Kesia, I'm so sorry.." He says. You run your fingers through his hair.
"I know." You say as you rock him.
"I never wanted to hurt you, I....I.."
"You wanted to protect Octavia. You did what you had to do__"
"No, I hurt you__"
"Listen, if you didn't I wouldn't have been on that dropship with you and Octavia, and we wouldn't even be having this conversation." You tell him. "You did the right thing, don't ever let anyone tell you other wise." He gives you a small nod.
Once Bellamy is finally calm he sits up. You cup his cheek with your hand. He fell into your touch, and stared at you with those deep and bright brown eyes, this time you stared at him the same way he stared at you.
"I love you so much Kesia." Bellamy says in the softest, most fragile voice you've ever heard him speak in.
"If you weren't my best friend, I would have thought you meant that in an intimate way." You say with a chuckle, acting like you didn't already know.
Those words broke him though. He thought you only saw him as a friend. He didn't want to just be friends. He wanted to prove he loved you. He wanted to be able love you.
"Kesia," Bellamy says in a deep, husky voice that grabs your attention instantly and sent shivers down you spine, good shivers.
"I want us.."
Something came over you, you just wanted to grab him right then and there, but you still felt something wrong, something unallowed, but once you looked in his eyes that feeling went away.
You bite your lip, and look at his. You look at his eyes, they were no longer the eyes you know, they were different, good different.
You grab him and pull him closer. You shouldn't, but you want to. If it was wrong, then why do you feel so right?
You couldn't stop, you want it so bad, so you take it. You kiss him. You can feel a smile form on his lips. He has always made you happy, so when you made him smile, you felt important. And that was all there was to that moment.
"Bellamy we have to leave." Clake says barging through the door.
"Leave?" You ask confused.
"It's fine__" Bellamy says trying to calm you down but you cut him off.
"Fine? NO, It's not fine, you're just going to pretend to love me then leave minutes later?"
"No, Kesia it's not like tha_"
"Is that what you told all your other girls?"
"No, I love you__"
"IF YOU DO THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?"
"I..I..I don't know." Bellamy says dropping his head and looking at the ground. Part of you wanted to calm down and apologize, but part of you couldn't even look at him. You just poured your heart and soul into him, and he didn't bother to tell you he was going to leave. You were about to yell at him again, when you saw his eyes. He looked like a baby rabbit whose mother was just killed, and was now under attack, Helpless, afraid, and devastated. You wiped the tears off his face, and embraced him.
"I don't want you to go." You say soft and quiet. Bellamy tightens his embrace and puts his face on your neck. He grabs your hand and holds it gently, you do the same, even though there is no words you're both saying, I'm sorry.
"Teik ai hodnes kom yu." You wisper.
"What does that mean?" Bellamy questions.
"Take my love with you." You translate.
"I will." He says before kissing you on the forehead. You let him go and watch as he walks out the door.
