Luke: (age 12)
"It's okay, Y/N," Luke soothed you, "just tell me what's wrong." Two minutes before you ran out of the bathroom with tears streaming down your cheeks, Mother Nature had decided to bestow her 'gift' on you. "I-I started m-my period!" You sobbed, hiding your face in your hands. "Awh, Y/N, it's alright, sweetheart. Has mum talked to you about this before?" Luke asked, rubbing your back in little circles. Nodding, you buried your face in Luke's chest and continued to cry. "Well, just...just do what she told you. She probably told you to clean up and put on a 'pad,' right?" You pulled away and muttered a small 'yes' and wiped your eyes. "Right then, I'm pretty sure there's some in the guest bathroom cabinet, under the sink. Go grab one and clean up, then how about we go for some ice cream or McDonald's?" Luke offered, helping you up. "O-okay. Thanks for helping me, Lukey," you whispered. He grinned and kissed the top of your head. "No problem, Y/N! What are big brothers for?"
Calum: (age 16)
[his POV oooh :)]
"SHIT!" I heard Y/N yell from the upstairs bathroom. Slightly alarmed, I ran up the stairs. "Y/N! You alright, boo?" I asked, kinda concerned. What if she fell and hurt herself? What if- "No, Cal! Just..go away, I'm fine!" She grumbled. I was a bit confused, but then I heard something crinkling, almost like a plastic bag--oooooh. "I'll, uh, be downstairs if you need me, boo," I called. Walking down the stairs, I mentally facepalmed myself. *How could I not have noticed this yesterday?* I thought. *She's a late bloomer, she was cranky as hell yesterday...god, I'm an idiot.* A few minutes later, Y/N stomped down the stairs with a grumpy face. "Y/N, did you-" "YES, Calum, I did start my period. I am a late starter. Fuck my life, god I hate everything," she groaned, laying facedown on the floor. "Oh. It's, er, okay boo. I can go get you some twix bars, because I know you love those, and then I can pop in Bride Wars because I ALSO know that it's your favorite movie. How about that?" I offered, laying down next to her. Grumbling something I couldn't make out, I scooted closer to her. "Say that again?" Y/N turned to face me. "Thanks, Calum. Now scoot over before I punch you." She said, eyes closed. A laugh escaped my lips. "Y/N, you never fail to make me laugh!" I chuckled. She opened her eyes and looked at me. "Not kidding."
