Chapter 22 : Let's Get Going

With Dr Agasa on the wheel, Ai next to him and Shinichi and Mairy on the back the yellow beetle, our four warriors are going to the old building where they believe that Ran is in. According to Hagase, the stigma from Ran's earrings was stable at that building and hadn't move at all since last night.

Once they arrived they parked a few meters away from the building so they won't be noticed from anyone from the other side. Once they got out they started to walk silently towards the gate where they noticed two familiar silhouettes in the shadows. Shinichi and Ai approached them first.

''Hattori! You!'' Shinichi said astonished.

''I called him here to help us.'' Ai obviate him looking behind them to check if anyone was coming.

''Yeah and Kazuha insisted to come along.'' Heiji said irritated.

''Ran-chan is my friend! I won't let her alone!'' Kazuha hissed.

''I don't want you to get hurt. So you will stay with me all the time ok?'' Heiji told her with bright red face looking at the sky.

''Ok...'', his girlfriend agreed all red too.

''Oh... that is so cute~!'' Mairy commented their situation with a happy face. ''But time for the plan people. Come around.'' she demanded gently.

They gathered together a little away from the gate to decide how they are going to enter the building. Then they heard someone talking. They hided and saw a man dressed in black talking on the phone waking pass them. He said that a girl was inside the building and because she was kicking and knew karate they had to chain her down. She was at the 5th floor and that the boss was in his private room. After a few more details he got back in again.

''I am going to the 5th floor for Ran.'' Shinichi said.

''We are coming with you.'' Kazuha told him holding Heiji's arm.

''Ok then I am going for the boss. We are going to meet here again?'' Mairy said.

''No, better on the rooftop.'' Ai suggested with a serious tone.

''Ok... then we can jump off... I like the plan. Dr Agasa stay here with the little girl and-'' Mairy couldn't finish her sentence when she faced a furious Ai. ''I will come with you! And I don't accept 'no' as an answer.'' Ai stated while walking inside the building. Dr Agasa went to his car while the rest followed Ai and entered the building.

In the meantime with Ran.

''What do you want from me, Ren?'' the girl asked her crazy ex.

The boy was sitting on the couch looking the karate girl all chained up on the chair trying to escape. He smiled and got up.

''Simon told me... you know... about the little fun you had with the detective!''

''Simon?'' she asked annoyed. ''Who the hell is he?''

''My boss, and the one that got you here. If I recall right I had told you that I would be the one that would take you first, but you little bitch just couldn't hold yourself huh? You WHORE!'' he screamed at her angrily and slapped her hard on the face.

''Fuck off, Ren!'' she managed to say before he hit her again on the other side.

''You will pay for that Ran-chan~! You will be mine even if I am your second!'' he announced with an amusement as he took off her chains, grabbed her by her hair and threw her on the couch with him on top of her.
