Detective Conan : We Still Continue

Chapter 10: Fights

Kazuha went down to the cafeteria of the hospital but she felt like she wanted to breath so she eventually went to the yard. Once she came out she felt small drops of water hitting her face gently. She looked up and expanded her hand with her palm towards the sky to check if it's raining. She walked towards the gardens of the hospital letting the drops of water sweetly whipping her face. Her mind was blank as she was trying to clear her head. The only thing she could hear was the rain hitting the leaves of trees. At some point she stopped and looked up at the sky again. It was gray, but with many small sunbeams passing between the clouds.

"What do I want? What I really want?" she whispered softly to herself.

She took a step forward and looked down at her feet. Suddenly a lightning took her out of her thoughts and recalled the fact that she had to return to Ran's room.

Meanwhile with Ran and Sonoko.

"RAN! Where are you going? Come here immediately! NOW!"

"No! I want an explanation! Here and now!"

"For what?"

"For the fact that he tried to commit suicide and to make me feel guilty about it! Do you understand now? But I won't let him do this!"

"Yeah, nice. How strong were the drugs that they gave her?'' she whispered to herself and continued annoyed. "And tell me my love... do you know where his room is?" 

"Of course not! You are the one who is gonna take me there, stupid!" Ran sounded confident.

"Omg... you gonna be kidding me right?"

Then Sonoko saw a nurse approaching them.

"You are with Mr Hattori, right?" The nurse asked them fast.

"Yes..." Sonoko stopped her crazy girlfriend and looked at the nurse.

"Okay, please follow me... we should tell you something serious."

"Ah very nice... But before we go... Let me ask you something! Could you send someone to take her back to her room because the drugs that they gave her seems to be outdated." Sonoko said looking dead serious at the nurse not caring if she just insulted the hospital.

"Yeah okay. I will call someone to take care of her. But you are coming with me." the nurse answered with a smile. The rich girl agreed but first she waited for some other nurses to come and pick up Ran to take her back to her room and then followed her nurse. They arrived at an office where there had been waiting them a man dressed in white... probably he also was a doctor.

"Hello.Please sit." he said with a serious tone making Sonoko feel like she get there for negotiations. "I will report the status of our patient, Hattori Heiji. I will not sweet-coat it. So straight to the point. As the nurse informed you, he has escaped danger but there is one little problem."

"What do you mean 'danger'?'' asked the girl puzzled.

"What? You are not informed?" the doctor glared at the nurse.

"No... Nothing and no one told me anything." Sonoko replied icy.

"Oh... So let me tell you... the boy had been into a great degree of fatigue and exhaustion as a result of having a heart attack. Fortunately he decapitated and survived, but the problem is that his heart is very sensitive and now, he must not suffer any shock of emotional situation. Because his heart will not last for long if something like that happens... with the passage of time he will get better... do not worry."
