Bonus: Kaito And Aoko

After i uploaded the last chapter, i wrote one more and I forgot to upload it here. 
One reviewer(commenter) asked me about Aoko and Kaito so i decided to write one more chap about them and how they ended.

"Young Master... The today's newspaper." Jii was sound from the door as he was stepping slowly towards Kaito to give him the newspaper.

"Oh thank you Jii-chan!" Kaito thanked him and started to read the paper. Everyday he was waiting for the good news. He was waiting for Kudo Shinich's case to be over at the front page and that day finally came.

"FINALLY! OI! Jii-chan!! Hear me out! Kudo Shinichi's case is finally over!!" he screamed enthusiastically with stars in his eyes. He had heard from Megure about the case. He wanted to help but he decided that it would be better to not get involved more than he already had. That was Kudo's case. If he ever needed his help, he would contact him. But that never happened. But he didn't mind it. He was happy that Kudo's calvary was finally over and now he could continue his life as a free man.

"Hm... I hope that he is still with his girlfriend, Mouri Ran was it?" he murmured on his own. Jii brought him some tea.

Kaito continued to read the rest of the article about the case. He noticed that they never mentioned neither Kudo neither Hattori. He thought that this was for the best. That way any avenger wouldn't come after them in the future.

"Yes. Mr Kudo and Ms Mouri are together. But unfortunately a friend of them died during the case." Jii filled in Kaito. The boy turned and looked at him surprised.

"I like happy endings, so I got all the information because I wanted to see if they had a happy ending." the old man coughed embarrassed.

"Nice Jii-chan!!" Kaito laughed and let the newspaper down to drink his tea.

"About your happy ending Young Master... what are you going to do?" Jii asked.

"Nothing Jii-chan... Isn't it nice here? Mother is super happy now that we are all together here in Las Vegas! Plus I am home tutored so I can finish highschool and-"

"Young Master... you ran away..." Jii cut him. He used the same excuse again and again from the moment he decided to leave Japan. Jii seeing Kudo Shinichi facing his problems and not giving up on his love for Mouri Ran he realized that everything was possible and that Kaito didn't try enough to keep Aoko next to him. He just assume that Aoko hated him and so he flee without trying to change her mind. He didn't only left his school, he left the country. Jii knew that he was miserable like that and that he felt awful for not being able to change the past, but he had admitted that the only thing he would change was to tell from the beginning to Aoko about him and his goal, even if she hated him.

"I didn't run away Jii-chan... I just took some vocations to relax! After all I own it to my self! I found Pandora, and I send to jail my father's murderers!"

"And how long are those vocations going to last?" Jii asked again determined to shoot down his defense.

Kaito got off guard and tried to find an excuse.

"Young Master you must not stay here. You have to go back there, find her and-"

"SHE HATES ME JII!! I LOVED HER....No... I still love her... I cant stop thinking about her... day and night... I thought that helping Kudo not do the same mistake as me would help me get through it. So I decided to go and find her... What Ran told me got me thinking... 'Why are you telling me all these?' She was right... Why I was there? Why was I there and not with Aoko trying to explain to her? So I left... when I set my foot on Japan again I went to find her... but she already knew. Her father had told her everything... She... she was destroyed..."
