FELIX X READER X TUCKER
(TUCKER WINS)You had a crush on Tucker for a while. He was the captain of the green squad, while you got stuck under Captain Simmons. He wasn’t awful, but he could barely give you orders without fainting. You had started flirting with Felix, the New Republic’s mercenary, just to make him jealous, but he never seemed bothered by it. And as you faked a relationship with Felix, you slowly found yourself falling in love with him.
You’d hooked up a few times, but it was never more serious than that. You didn’t exchanged promise rings or anything. You just sort of assumed that he would always be there for you.
That’s what you thought about as you pulled your knees up to your chest, your heart aching. Felix had just admitted that he’d been screwing with the entire planet for years, and that he had planned on killing everyone for money. Apparently, he never lied except for once, but you couldn’t help but think that every kiss and touch was just another heart breaking lie.
Other people greeted Church and Carolina, but you had no idea who they were, so you sat off to the side with Doctor Grey, who had gotten pulled along for the ride.
Your felt bile rising up in your throat, and turned your head to the side, vomiting violently. Doctor Grey pat your back and then offered you a tissue once you finished up. You breathed in heavily, trying to calm yourself.
“Are you alright?” She asked.
“Medically, or emotionally?” You asked, then pushed your h/c hair behind your ear.
“I meant medically, but I’m sure a psycho analysis wouldn’t hurt.” Grey said in a cheery tone. “Anyways, have you had any strange symptoms besides vomiting?”
“I’ve been putting on weight for the past four months.” You admitted under your breath, revealing your stomach, which was slightly outstretched.
Grey’s eyes widened. “If you don’t mind me asking, how’s your romantic life?”
“Falling apart.” You muttered. “If you want to know if I’ve had intercourse recently. This isn’t some weird ass STD is it? Because I’ll hunt that asshole down, and-“ You took a moment to process everything that you had just discussed with the doctor. Vomiting, putting on weight suddenly, intercourse, emotional bursts… “You think that I’m pregnant.” You stated blandly.
Grey shrugged. “I think it’s entirely possible.”
“There’s no way. We always used preventatives.” You shook your head.
Grey was quiet for a moment. “They don’t always work, you know.”
You tried to deny it, but you knew it was true. Inside your body, a child was forming. A child that you’d have to take care of all alone, because that asshole left you behind.
You broke down into tears, shaking slightly. Grey tried to comfort you as your friends approached, wondering what was happening.
“Y/n? Are you alright?” Tucker asked, kneeling down beside you.
“No.” You admitted. “I’m not.”
Grey pulled everyone else off to the side, while you cried quietly. She explained the situation, while you had no idea what to do with the baby inside of you. Should you hate it? It was the product of your and Felix’s fake love. Should you care for it, even though its father had broken your heart?
A hand rested on your shoulder. “Hey… Being pregnant isn’t that bad.” Tucker’s familiar voice tried to comfort you.
“You don’t know anything about pregnancy, do you?” You asked angrily. Should you blame him for this? If he had just noticed that you had a crush on him, maybe this wouldn’t have happened.
“Actually…” He leaned back and pat his stomach. “I had a kid once.” He pulled a photograph out of his pocket, showing you a tall alien. “His name is Junior.” He informed you.
You laughed. “Wait… Seriously? How?” You asked.
“It’s a long story.” He sighed, then smiled. “But at least I got you to smile.”
You couldn’t deny that he was right. You felt a lot better knowing that he would be here for you.
Now, five months later, after a lot of fighting and struggling, you watched as Felix was sent flying, thanks to a rocket fired by O’Malley/Doc.
He had commented on your enlarged stomach before, but now he stared at it in disbelief as you came to stand on the platform above him.
“You know, at first I thought you were fucking with me.” He admitted. “But I guess not.”
“Hey, Felix!” Caboose greeted.
Felix grabbed onto the blue soldiers ankle and yanked hi, down, catching Freckles as Caboose let it go.
“Caboose!” Epsilon shouted.
Felix chuckled, raising his energy shield, and planting a foot on Caboose’s chest, preventing him from moving or running away.
“Say goodbye to your stupid, blue moron!”
He pulled the trigger, releasing a blast of confetti and a fun party horn sound.
He stared at the weapon is a confused rage.
“What’s wrong with you people?” He shouted.
“Hands off.” Freckles said, before jerking back and hitting Felix in the head, knocking him to the floor.
“Bye, Felix.” Caboose said politely, coming up to join you, Tucker, and Epsilon.
“Yeah, we might be losers Felix… but we still kicked your ass.” Epsilon said.
Doc, Donut and Lopez came up on one side of him, while Sarge, Simmons and Grif surrounded him on the other side.
Felix pushed himself up into a sitting position, laughing as he did so. “Thing again.” He warned. His laughter was cut short as a SAW gun clattered onto the floor in front of him. He looked up. “Huh?”
You and Tucker turned, surprised to see Locus standing there.
“Freeze!” Tucker shouted, raising his rifle.
“Locus… What are you doing?” Felix asked, confused at what his partner was trying to do. “You were supposed to kill them.” He explained.
“No.” Locus replied.
“What?” Felix looked at him in surprise. Fear overtook him as he realized what was happening.
“No more killing.” Locus repeated.
“What are you talking about?!” Felix asked. “You’re a soldier, remember?”
“I’m not a soldier.” Locus denied. “I’m a monster… Like you.”
“Locus… we’re partners! Survivors! We need each other!” Felix tried desperately to convince his partner to fight again. “What about our orders?! Our reward?! Becoming the ultimate weapon!”
Locus was silent for a while. “I’m not doing this for the reward… I’m not doing this because someone told me to… I’m doing this, for me.”
Felix sighed heavily, weighing his options. “Then you can die with the rest of them.”
He drew his energy sword and threw it at Locus forcing Tucker to tackle you and get you out of the way. He then grabbed the SAW gun and fired a few rounds to his right. He deflected a few bullets shot by the others with his energy shield, and then caught a sticky grenade fired by Simmons.
“Guess we learned a thing or two from you villains, after all.” Sarge said.
Tucker was preparing to throw a grenade, but you held out your hand instead. He handed it to you, understanding why you’d rather do it.
“Hey, Felix.” You said, grabbing his attention.
“Y/n…” He looked up at you hopefully. His words almost sounded sincere.
“This is from our kid, jackass.” You tossed the grenade towards his feet, where it rolled to a stop.
He looked down at it, then quickly realized what would happen to him when it went off. “Wait!” He called out, as if anyone could save him in time.
He screamed as both grenades went off, sending him flying off the side of the temple, and down to the ground below.
You clutched your stomach in pain, dropping to the ground.
“Y/n!” Tucker rushed to your side, while Locus activated the tower and left peacefully.
Epsilon transmitted the message, while you went into labor. Doc helped to deliver the baby, while Tucker held your hand tightly.
“Breathe!” He instructed. “One, two! One, two!”
The baby came out, and was handed to you. Your head rested against the cold floor as you hyperventilated. “Tucker… when this is over… do you wanna get married?” You laughed, as he stared down at the beautiful baby boy.
“W-what? Hell yeah, I do! Bow chicka bow wow!”
You laughed, and he leaned down to kiss you warmly. Of course you had a lot more shit to go through before it was all over… But you looked forward to going through it with him.[REQUESTED BY @ISHIPFORDAYS]
