TEMPLE X READER
(Season 15 spoilers. He's the leader of the Blues and Reds.)

'Scouting'
That's what he called it.
Temple was a major asshole, always shoving his bitch work on you.
You sat on the edge of a cliff, looking down at the reds and blues. All they were doing is talking. That's all they ever do, they just stand there and talk.
Sometimes, you liked to guess what they were talking about. You made up imaginary conversations in your head, and gave everyone down there little voices to go along with their 'discussion'.
"Hi there, Washington! How are you today?" You said, trying to imitate Carolina's voice.
"Oh, I'm fine, Carolina. I was just thinking about how hot y/n is! She's so great and beautiful and sexy, but Temple doesn't seem to notice her. He's always a whiny bitch baby, and makes her sit around and watch heads bobbing up and down all day long!" You mimicked his voice. "Maybe if Temple wasn't such a dickhead, he would notice that she wants to fuck the shit out of him, and-"
Someone cleared their throat behind you, and you turned to see who was bothering you. Your face lit up when you saw Temple standing above you.
You looked behind him, seeing a pelican in the distance. How did you not hear that?
You looked back up to him and smiled awkwardly. "Uh... hey there, Temple. What's up?"
"We were going to break into another UNSC facility... I thought that you'd like to join us, unless you're too busy doing... whatever you're doing." He said, looking up towards the reds and blues.
You laughed nervously. "It would be nice to kill some soldiers." You admitted. "Well you're in luck! I'm not too busy today." You told him as you stood.
He stopped you when you started to head towards the pelican, placing a hand on your shoulder to hold you in place.
"Um... whatever you heard, it was just, uh, I'm..." You sighed. "I've got nothing. No excuses this time." You said.
He was quiet, and just stared down at the reds and blues that were scattered around the 'vacation home' that they had made for themselves.
"So... did you need anything, sir?" You asked, and he seemed to snap out of his daze.
"No. Let's go." He answered.
Once you were at the facility, a timer was set. After it went off, multiple bombs went off, killing almost everyone in the building. You and the others shot a few survivors, and a pelican soon came to pick you up.
Temple stepped out, and a man to your right pushed himself off the ground.
"You... you! You killed them all! You monsters! I'll... I'll kill you!" He shouted, rushing towards Temple.
Your heart did a flip when you saw the knife in his hand. Before anyone else had time to react, you snatched the gun off your back and shot him through the skull. His head exploded, splattering blood everywhere.
Temple wiped a bit of blood off his visor and took off his helmet, tossing it aside.
He looked towards you.
You nodded a 'you're welcome', and tapped your fingers against the side of your gun, examining his face. You looked down towards his helmet.
If the others weren't here, you probably would have taken this chance to slam your face against his.
"Hey, Temple, remember that stuff I was saying on the cliff?" You asked, avoiding eye contact.
He looked surprised that you brought it up. "Yes." He said in a rigid voice, as if he was trying to keep his tone steady. Everyone else looked confused.
"Could we talk about that?" You requested, looking at the others as you entered the pelican.
It didn't look like he wanted to say yes, but he nodded anyways. He sent the pilot outside and closed you both in the dark pelican.
You removed your helmet. "Did you hear... everything?" You asked.
He nodded.
"Of course you did." You muttered, rubbing the back of your neck as you thought of what to say next. "Uh... so I don't want it to be awkward between us... so can we just forget everything that I said?"
He chuckled darkly. "Why would I want to forget anything that you said?" He questioned.
"Well, I called you a whiny bitch baby, and a dickhead." You pointed out.
You felt him grab your shoulder, just like back on the cliff. He pushed you back, until you were stuck against the wall.
"I also seem to recall you saying that you wanted to 'fuck the shit out of' me." He whispered, making sure that no one else would hear, even if they were listening from outside the pelican. "What else were you going to say before I interrupted you?" He asked, his warm breath tickling your neck and ear.
Your face heated up as you tried to stutter out some sort of answer.
He laughed again, and seemed to get even closer to you.
"Actually, why don't you just show me?"
