Eight days ago, you were hired to personally protect the general. But then Doyle found a mercenary, willing to work as a body guard for a small price. You were forced to work together with the silent, serious, and super attractive 'Locus'. You doubted that was his real name, but he didn't seem open to talkimg about his past.
After about a week of silence between you two, you finally decided to break the ice.
You decided to try out a pick-up line, just to see how he'd react, since he seemed so uptight and antisocial.
You stopped walking, pausing in the cold snow, and gripped the visor of your helmet. "I think something's wrong with my eyes..." you complained.
He turned towards you.
"What?" He asked, sounding slightly annoyed that you'd stopped.
"My eyes. There's something wrong with my eyes." You exclaimed. Before he could ask what was wrong with them, you pointed a finger at him. "I can't take them off you!"
It was dead silent, and then you burst into laughter while he started walking away again, choosing to ignore your outburst.
"Come on, Locus, that was pretty funny." You said as you caught up to him. You had to walk quickly to keep up with him as he head towards the armory.
"You should be focusing on your duties." He reminded you, staring straight ahead.
You rolled your eyes and cracked a smile. "It's kind of hard to focus with you around." You flirted. He ignored you again, and the only sound was coming from your giggling and the crunching of your feet in the snow.
"It's so cold out here." You whined. "If only there was some way we could keep warm~" you teased.
"There's a heater in the armory, which is where we're headed." He stated blandly and you huffed, crossing your arms.
Since he wasn't reacting to your flirty comments, maybe there was something else you could try...
You took your helmet off and held it under your arm, staring up at his helmet. You tried to make it as obvious as possible.
After a while, he finally noticed that you were staring at him.
"Stop." He demanded, but you shook your head.
"You-" you began.
"Quiet." He instructed, and you looked down at your feet the, cold air biting into your cheeks.
"There's something on your helmet." You mumbled, just loud enough for him to hear.
He looked annoyed as he removed his helmet and searched for whatever you had spotted. He sighed when he saw that there was nothing there, and went to put his helmet back on.
You quickly grabbed his arm and yanked it down, making hs face come down to your level. You grabbed both sides of his face and immediately kissed him right on the lips.
He tensed up after the kiss, and ended up dropping his helmet. He just stood there, as if he was unsure how to react. When you pulled away, leaving him in slight shock, you grabbed his helmet and ran. After a moment, he chased after you, determined to get it back.
"Come and get it!" You teased, forgetting that he was much faster than you.
You were tackled to the ground, but you hugged the helmet tightly in your arms, then quickly shoveled snow into it.
You rolled over and pushed it onto his head, covering his head in snow.
You laughed as he jumped in surprise and tossed aside his helmet, shoveling snow off his head.
You helped him by wiping some off his shoulder. "You missed a spot." You gave him a sly grin before kissing him softly on the cheek, kissing away a tiny snowflake.
You waited for his reaction.
He blinked a few times, then let out a quiet chuckle.
You raised an eyebrow, slightly surprised. Did he just... laugh?
He stood and helped you up, then held out your own helmet to you. You took it gratefully and turned it over your head, ready to put it on.
Wait a second!
It was too late. Clumps of snow fell out onto your head, and you crossed your arms. Did he just use your own trick against you?
You wrapped your arms around him tightly, holding his arms against his side. He didn't attempt to fight you, and he actually looked intrigued by your actions. Were you actually trying to restrain him? He could easily break out of this...
Giggling, you turned your head upwards and stood on your toes. Your lips met his, and it seemed to only last for a few seconds before you pulled back and launched a snowball at him.
"Y/n..." he practically growled, though his tone seemed more relaxed than before.
You shot him a quick wink, then slid on your helmet, jogging towards the armory.
He barely heard you shouting over your shoulder:
"Catch me if you can!"
