I laughed and squealed as I was tickled. I looked up at my dad with tears in my eyes from laughing.

"Dinner is ready!", mom called from the kitchen, "Will, can you get Lori in her high chair?"

Dad picked me up and set me down in my seat. He took my shirt off so I wouldn't get it dirty and locked the tray in place.

"Food! Food! Food!", I chanted, my dad laughed and went into the kitchen to get me my dinner.

When he brought me my food, I stuffed my face. When we finished eating. They cleaned me up and let me run freely. I walked into the office dad uses sometimes and climbed on the chair. I looked over at the phone when it started ringing.

I peaked down the hallway to see if anyone was coming and when I seen no one, I grabbed the phone and held it to my ear like dad does.

"Hello?", I smiled, my voice a little squeaky.

"Is William Lennox there?", I heard from the other end.

"Daddy is wif mommy.", I said and started playing with the cord.

"Can you let him know that we need him back at the base?", my heart sunk and I frowned.

Daddy was always leaving. He worked in the military with his friend, Robert Epps. They've known each other since high school.

"Otay.", I hung up and went to find daddy, "Daddy!"

"What is it?", he asked, I started tearing up.

"You have to go. The man called. They want you back.", I said and hugged him.

"Oh, it's okay sweetie. I'll be back.", he reassured me and went to pack.

I laid against my mom as she held me. We waved goodbye to my daddy as he drove off in his old truck. I looked over towards the water tower and saw a big explosion. Mommy gasped and ran towards some bushes.

Two men stood in front of our house with guns. Big guns.

"They're not here. Let's just blow it up and leave.", one of them threw a bomb and the house exploded.

Everything we owned was in that house. My brother was in that house. The men left and mommy started crying. My brother was only 8 when he died and he was the one that took care of me when mommy was at work. I loved him so much.

I stared at the house and decided to take the vow of silence.
