I grinned as I got ready. Ron and I were talking yesterday and he told me that he got tickets for one of my favorite bands. Imagine Dragons. He decided that in order to refuel our love we had to spend time together at least once every two weeks.

This week, he's taking me to the Imagine Dragons concert. When I found out, I was thrilled.

"So, what do you need me to do?", Lisa, who's three month pregnant, asks.

"Not much. Just make sure they have food and water and that they get taken out once every few hours. If you need anything, ask Killer. He knows where everything is. He's learning to be a service dog.", I said

"Okay.", Lisa said.

"If you need to call me, talk to Bullet. He knows how to use a phone believe it or not.", I said.

"That'll come in handy.", Lisa said.

"If you need help standing, Buster is the one to call. He has the best balance out of the three of them when it comes to someone leaning on him for support.", I said, "Okay, I have to go."

"Okay. Have fun.", Lisa said.

I walked outside and got into Ron's truck. He's not allowed inside just yet. Ron drove off toward the concert.

(Keep in mind that I have never been to a concert before so I'm just going with what I heard.)

When we got there, the place was packed. It took us 15 minutes just to find a parking spot. We waited in line and talked to a couple fans behind us. When it was our turn to head in, Ron showed the tickets.

We were in a good spot. Not necessarily the front row, but not so far back that we can't see the band.

"Hello everyone! Welcome to our concert tonight, who's excited?!", the lead singer, Dan Reynolds, said into the mic.

Everyone started screaming and cheering.

"Alright, tonight we're playing our album, Night Visions. Anyone familiar with the songs?", Dan asked, smiling.

"I love Night Vision! My favorite song is Radioactive.", I said.

"Alright! Here we go!", Dan said and the music started.

Whoa, oh, oh
Whoa, oh, oh
Whoa, oh, oh
Whoa

I'm waking up to ash and dust
I wipe my brow and I sweat my rust
I'm breathing in the chemicals

I'm breaking in, shaping up, then checking out
on the prison bus
This is it, the apocalypse
Whoa

I'm waking up, I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems blow
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I'm
radioactive, radioactive
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I'm
radioactive, radioactive

I raise my flags, don my clothes
It's a revolution, I suppose
We'll paint it red to fit right in
Whoa

I'm breaking in, shaping up, then checking out
on the prison bus
This is it, the apocalypse
Whoa

I'm waking up, I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems blow
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I'm
radioactive, radioactive
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I'm
radioactive, radioactive

All systems go, the sun hasn't died
Deep in my bones, straight form inside

I'm waking up, I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems blow
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I'm
radioactive, radioactive
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I'm
radioactive, radioactive

I smiled and danced along to the music. The next song they started playing was Demons.

When the days are cold
And the cards all fold
And the saints we see
Are all made of gold

When your dream all fail
And the ones we hail
Are the worst of all
And the blood's run stale

I want to hide the truth
I want to shelter you
But with the beast inside
There's no where we can hide

No matter what we breed
We still are made of greed
This is my kingdom come
This is my kingdom come

When you feel my heat
Look into my eyes
It's where my demons hide
It's where my demons hide
Don't get too close
It's dark inside
It's where my demons hide
It's where my demons hide

When the curtain's call
Is the last of all
When the lights fade out
All the sinners crawl

So they dug your grave
And the masquerade
Will come calling out
All the mess you made

Don't want to let you down
But I am hell bound
Through this is all for you
Don't want to hide the truth

No matter what we breed
We still are made of greed
This is my kingdom come
This is my kingdom come

When you feel my heat
Look into my eyes
It's where my demons hide
It's where my demons hide
Don't get too close
It's dark inside
It's where my demons hide
It's where my demons hide

They say it's what you make
I say it's up to fate
It's woven in my soul
I need to let you go

Your eyes, they shine so bright
I want to save their light
I can't escape this now
Unless you show me how

When you feel my heat
Look into my eyes
It's where my demons hide
It's where my demons hide
Don't get too close
It's dark inside
It's where my demons hide
It's where my demons hide

I smiled as I continued dancing and singing along.

After another three hours, we had to leave.

"What'd you think?", Ron asked.

"Well, it was good but that doesn't mean we're back together already, Ironhide.", I said, "It's going to take a while."

"I know.", Ron said, "Come on, it's getting late and I've got to be in DC by tomorrow night."

I nodded and got in his truck. He pulled up into my driveway and unlocked the doors.

"Come inside.", I said, "Bullet will be glad to see you. Just be careful around Killer and Buster. They're afraid of men."

"Really?", Ron asked, surprised.

"Yes, you can stay the night.", I said, "Lisa has the couch so I suppose we can sleep together."

Ron nodded and set his stuff down by the door of my room. The boys were asleep on the floor of my room. I stepped over Killer and almost stepped on Bullet's tail. Ron picked me up bridal style and set me on the bed. He laid down next to me and I couldn't help but smile.

Maybe things will be okay.
