"I tried" I sighed and looked at myself in the mirror.
My outfit didn't fit, my hair was a mess, I looked horrible.
You know those days where even only your hair is a mess but it just ruins your whole mood.
"I'm leaving for work rn. Bye mom, bye dad!" I said and grabbed my jacket.
"Bye honey!" They both replied.
I grabbed my car keys and drove to Target.
I put on the radio, normally I always jam to every song I know, but this time like I said I just wasn't in the mood.
I arrived and walked inside.
"Hi y/n." My boss smiled.
I gave him a fake smile back.
"Is there something wrong?" He noticed
"No nothing, I'm just tired that's all" I lied
"Oh okay then" he said and I walked to the dressing room.
I put on my work outfit and tied my hair in a ponytail.
I opened the door and took a deep breath
Am I the only one that just wakes up some days and just feel like shit for no reason. And you just want to stay in bed all day? Well that's me rn.
I cleaned the shelves and did my job.
"Excuse me miss." I heard someone ask behind me.
I wanted to ignore but I couldn't, because this is my fcking job.
I turned and saw a woman with long blond hair.
"Do you guys sell toothpicks here?" She asked
"Yes we do. Follow me I'll show you" I said and lead her to the shelf.
"Thank you very much" she smiled.
"You're welcome" I said and got back to work.
I helped Macy behind the cash register.
"That's 34,60 please" I said
He gave me 35.
"It's fine" he smiled
"Thank you, have a nice day further" I said to the client.
"Bye" he said.
"Damn what's wrong with you. Are you on your period or something" Macy laughed.
The clients that where waiting in the row heard her and began to giggle.
"Macy wtf" I said
"That's a yes" she laughed
"No. I'm just not in the mood rn" I said
"Of course" she laughed
The women that was paying her stuff giggled and looked at me.
I wanted to say " what?" but I think that will sound ruder than I actually mean.
We suddenly heard some glass shatter on the ground and we all looked up.
"Seems like someone broke something" Macy said
"Loser" I rolled my eyes.
"Y/n." Macy said
"What?!" I asked
"Go look"
"Why me!?"
"Because I'm busy" she said
I rolled my eyes and helped the last client in the row. I stood up and go check what happened.
I walked until I saw a boy looking nervous at broken glass.
Why are you staring at it!? Clean that stupid shit.
"I-I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to!" He got all nervous
"It's okay" I said and cleaned it up.
"I-I'm really sorry. Here I'll help" He said and wanted to help but all he did was making it worse.
"Shit!" I said when I cut myself on a piece of glass.
"I-I'm sorry!!" He said
"Stop saying you're sorry!" I raised my voice and stood up.
"I'll help!" He said and ran away.
I rolled my eyes. And cleaned all the glass even tho I was bleeding.
The boy suddenly came back with tissues.
I raised my eyebrow.
"Here" he said and wrapped a tish around my finger.
He smiled. I fake smiled back.
"I'm so so-"
"Don't" I cut him off
" ow yeh I'm sorry" He said
"Be careful" I said and got back to work.
"You too! My name is Grayson by the way!" He smiled.
"Whatever" I rolled my eyes
