I woke up by my mom.
"Wake up sweat heart" my mom whispered.
I slowly opened my eyes and looket at the clock.
"Mom wtf it's 05:30 am" I said
"Our flight is early" she smiled and left.
"Nice" I rolled my eyes and got up.
I checked my phone and saw that I missed a call from Layla.
I decided to call her back.
"Omg Skyler what's wrong?" She yawned.
"Oh I'm so sorry I woke you up. But I have to tell you something" I said
"What?"
"Layla...I'm moving to New York." I said
"Woah cool.....wait what!?"
"I just got the news yesterday so I couldn't come over. I'm so sorry"
"Wowowow is this a joke?" She asked
"What do you think?"
"Sky wtf!?" I heard her yell.
"I'm so so so so so sorry. But my dad find a job there and they buyed a house without telling me!"
"Wtf. This is bad..." she said
"I know. But Layla...I have to go...I promise I will call you when I land"
"Mhm...I will miss you..." she sniffed
"I will miss you 2" A tear rolled down my face and I hung up.
*At the airport*
It was 6:30 am and we were waiting for our flight. I ignored my parents this morning bc I wasn't in the mood to talk.
"SKYLER!" I heard a voice behind me.
I turned and saw my best friend.
"OMG LAYLA!!!" I yelled and runned into her arms.
We hugged each other so tight we could barely breathe.
"You thought I would leave you without saying goodbye?" She smiled
"I'm so happy you're here" I smiled.
"Sky!" Devan said running towards us.
"Omg " I said and hugged him.
"Do you really have to go?" He asked.
"I don't have a choice" I said looking down.
"We will miss you" he said
"Oh guys I will miss y'all too, so bad!" I said and hugged them again.
"Sky our flight is here!" My mom said.
A tear rolled down my face as I followed my parents.
"We love you! Don't forget that!" I heard Layla yell.
I smiled and got on the flight. I took a seat next to the window and saw Layla and Devan. I waved at them as another tear rolled down my face.
Here we go...bye Australia...bye home...bye Layla and Devan...

I couldn't sleep the whole flight long. We suddenly landed and I stared out the window.
"C'mon honey" My mom said and we got off the plain.
We drove with our car to the house. When we arrived I have to be honest, I was shocked. It was a big house.
"Do you like it?" My dad asked
"Yeh" I said
We brought our stuff inside. It was such a pretty house! I got to my new room and lay on my bed.
I decided to face time Layla.
She picked up.
"Heeeeey" she said
"Devan is here too. DEVAN!!!" She yelled
"Hi Sky!" He smiled.
"Hi guys" I laughed.
"Woah is that your living?" Layla asked.
"My room" I giggled.
"Omg!" Devan said
"You want a house tour?" I smirked.
"YEEESSSS" they both said
I laughed and grabbed my phone.
"So this is my room" I said and showd them my room.
I opened my door and got to the living.
"This is our living it's pretty big" I said
"It's huge!" Devan said
"Hi mom, Hi dad!" I said .
"Hi Sky! Hi Layla! Hi Devan!" They smiled.
We laughed
"Is it back to normal there?" Layla asked.
"Yeh I think so." I said
"Move on! This is the kitchen. And this is our backyard."

*5days later*
I call Layla and Devan everyday.
We promised we won't lose contact no matter how far we're from each other.
I sat in my room listening to music while I cleaned up my room. I cannot stand a messy room!
"Honey! We're going to work! Call us if there's something wrong and you know, be careful!" My mom yelled from downstairs.
"Okay bye mom bye dad!" I yelled back.
I was ready cleaning up my room so I decided to call Layla and Devan since I haven't call them today.
*10:45 PM*
My parents aren't home yet.
Where are they?
I tried to call them,text them...but they don't answer.
I was getting worried.
I called Devan and Layla and they said that I have to calm down and wait. They're probably just running out of time.
But we all know I CAN'T.
Suddenly my phone rang.
I picked up. My hands were getting sweaty.
"Hello with Skyler Helton." My voice cracked
"Hello Skyler. I'm doctor Brett. Are your parents Miss. and Mr. Helton?" He asked
"Umh...yeh why?" I asked worried,
"Well, I'm so sorry. But they had a caraccident and they didn't make it...They said you were their daughter so I called you" he explained
I dropped the phone and broke down.
I know this story is like getting really boring... and yeh...just bad.
