This chapter is told by the POV of Steven
Everything is blurry. What the hell happened? Oh yeah... Shocked by Volt. Somethings on my head, the hell is this? I hear some voices and mumbles close to me
"Ok, now Steven" I hear someone say right in front of me. All of a sudden the blurriness disappears and is replaced by light. As my eyes adjust I see Volt and a bunch of his men circled around me and a few of my friends. I think we're in the auditorium. I see Antonio, Milton, Oliver, Levi, Bailey and Madeline all tied up same as me. I see Brent behind Volt standing next to Forest. Wait, where's Devin?
"Where's Devin?!" I shout at Volt who is pacing around people looking at their faces
"Oh, that loser?" He says pointing up near a cage "He's up with the girl he failed" I look closer and see Kelly locked in a cage hanging from the balcony of the upper level of seats. Then above her is Devin... Hanging by his arms from the balcony railing... Dead
"What the fuck have you done?!?!" I yell at Volt and struggle against the restraints
"Technically, I didn't do a thing. He lost his fight. But what I'm gonna do now is gonna really piss you off. I am a man of my word, so you, Antonio, Milton, and the short girl will live and get to leave. As for the rest of your friends.. I'm going to kill every single one of them one by one in front of you" he says picking up a large wood cutting axe
"You can't do that!" Antonio yells and the floor rumbles a bit. Brent punches him in the face hard and the rumbling stops
"I can and I will!" Volt yells "I told you all that I only wanted the four people to come. I told the others to leave. I was already forced to feed the little girl to my tiger, but nooooo. You wanted the rest of your friends to join in and die as well" He laughs a bit to himself then looks over at Antonio and glares
"What do you want fuck for brains?" Antonio asks glaring back
"Oh nothing, just to see your spirit break. Get Kelly down here!" he yells up at a few followers on the balcony
"No! You leave her alone!" Antonio yells and tries to break free
"You move and I break her neck!!" Brent yells pulling Beth from behind the stage walls and grabbing her throat. Antonio shuts his mouth and tightens his lips. Kelly is brought down to the stage and placed in front of Volt. He raises his axe above her head slowly
"You ready Antonio?" Volt sneers then swings the axe down and misses her hitting the floor next to Kelly. He looks around confused then meets eyes with me "Somebody hit him! He made me miss!" I get punched in the back of the head by three different people and start to get dizzy. Volt raises his axe again and swings it down just as Antonio tenses up and shakes the ground beneath us again. The axe misses again and hits the toes of one of the followers standing too close chopping them off
"I warned you!!" Brent yelled and snaps Beth's neck then lets her slump to the ground. Dumbass doesn't know that it did absolutely nothing but put her down for a few minutes "Look what you made me do you dumbass"
"No!! How could you!!" Antonio shouts at Brent who just laughs. Looks like Antonio has the same plan as me. Wait for Beth to heal and catch them off guard then attack at once
"Well. If you're finally done, we can get a move on" Volt says getting more and more irritated. He drops the axe and raises his hand above her pulsing red lightning "Fuck you Antonio!" he screams and lets go of all his power right down at Kelly. There is a huge flash and Volt gets blown way back and Kelly gets knocked forward
"Nice try Volt!" Devin yells standing on the edge of the balcony with his own lightning pulsing in his hands. Volt stands up just to be thrown through the stage door by Brent. Shert rushes over to us and melts all of our binds freeing us
"Go!! Now!!!" he yells and we all get up to fight our way out. There are about a hundred of Volt's men in this auditorium alone, plus whoever was left to guard the rest of the place. I see Milton blasting people left and right and Antonio flinging people around with vines. I use my powers to protect anybody from a behind attack. Its starting to look like we might actually make it out of this alive!
"Don't anybody fucking move!!" Forest shouts from the back of the stage. He has Kelly in one arm and the axe in the other "Stop moving or she dies!"
"Kelly!!" Antonio yells and immediately stops moving "Everybody stop! We're done.." Everyone stops fighting and looks over at Forest
"You are all so fucking stupid. You should have known you can't beat us" he says laughing. I slowly raise my fingers waiting for the right moment. He loosens his grip on Kelly to turn towards Antonio more, and I swing my arm back throwing him off balance. Kelly flies up to get away from him but he grabs onto her leg and floats off the ground a bit but won't let go. Everybody continues their fighting as me and Antonio fight our way towards Kelly and Forest. I get hit by a large flying chair that was thrown off the balcony and fall to the ground. I look over at Antonio who is caught up fighting a guy that can swallow objects and spit them back out at him. I use my mind to throw the chair I got hit with back up at the balcony hitting the guy then throwing him at the big mouthed guy. Antonio gives me a thumbs up then continues his race to Kelly. Milton shoots a huge fire blast hitting a guy in my way and I continue on. I am almost there! So close!!
"Nooooooo!!!!!" Beth screams from just around the corner. Me and Antonio both get there at the same time to see the same thing. Forest holding Kelly's severed head in his hand with the axe next to her body on the floor
