Chapter 23: Outpost Outing

This Chapter is told by the POV of Antonio

"Why are we here?" I ask Volt

"Because, I'm looking for something asshole" Volt shouts at me. God I hate this prick

"Whatever. Let's just get it and go. Drehk sent us to go destroy that all girl bullshit now that your place has been destroyed, which I am still super duper not sorry about, and it can't be entered by Drehk himself thanks to their leader, which of course makes zero sense at all, like really? What powers could she possibly have that can keep out that strong mother fucker?" I say scratching my head. I kinda want to keep her alive though just in case Drehk tries anything against me, but I guess we will cross that bridge when we get there

"I am not completely sure, but she has some kind of power that would put a stop to his quest once and for all" Volt says then turns to me "now shut up and lets go" I shut my mouth and just smirk and follow him. I can't wait until I kill Devin then get the chance to kill this fucker. I am still pretty intrigued about what Devin said about him being scared of Volt's red lightning. We continue on into the building and look around at how empty it is

"Where is everyone?" I ask thinking that there would be people here. Volt has a stern look on his face, which is no longer covered by his hockey mask since I already know who he is. Whenever I look at him, I see nothing of who he used to be, and only see the asshole he became. Although, I guess he was always an asshole

"I.. I don't know.. There should be at least ten to twenty new recruits here at most times.." He steps forward and inspects a small red spot on the floor. I get closer to it as well then immediately step back and put my guard up. It's blood. Somebody is here! "We have to find my rod!" Volt yells then begins to run forward. I begin to chase after him when something appears right in front of me and punches me in the face. I shake the dizziness off and focus on what the hell is there. I see Oliver with a super stern face staring at me

"Well than. Wasn't expecting you to still be buddying around with that douchebag. Like really? We used to walk to school together and play video games together. Don't make me have to fight you... Please Antonio.." He pleas with me. I just laugh and walk up to him

"You are not who I am after, but if you force me to fight you, I will kill you. So run." I say and punch him in the stomach. He looks up and me and smiles then teleports away revealing Steven hiding behind him. How the hell?? Steven extends his arm sending me flying up and across the corridor and into the wall about 10 feet away from him. I slide down and land on the floor on my hands and knees. I punch the ground in frustration

"Come on, Antonio. You should know that it will take more than you to take me down. Especially when I have friends still" He says and Oliver teleports to my left and kicks me in the head then teleports away again. I pick up a large chunk of concrete and throw it at Steven. He puts his hand up and stops it mid air. I jump up and punch through the concrete catching him off guard then swing at him as hard as I can. Oliver teleports under me and grabs my leg then teleports again taking me with. I appear behind Volt searching under a cot looking for something. My fist smashes into him breaking the cot and trapping him in a small crater in the ground. I turn to punch Oliver and he teleports away too fast

"Stop fucking around before I kill you! Help me out so I can keep looking!" Volt yells from behind me. I flip him off and begin walking off to find and beat the shit out of Steven and Oliver

"Is this what you're looking for?" Shert says stepping into the room holding up a small blue piece of metal that looks like a small rod

"Give that to me Shert! Now!!" Volt yells starting to free himself a bit

"Yeah, no. That ain't happening" He says and reaches into his pocket. I get ready to fight until he pulls out a small key shaped shank looking thing. He holds the blue rod and the key into the air in the same hand then whistles really loud. Oliver teleports next to him and grabs the key and rod then teleports away. I run towards Shert and jump right before I get to him. I jump right through the ceiling and land on the roof next to 13 unconscious boys, probably the trainees that Volt was talking about. I run to the edge of the building and see Oliver running towards a white truck. He gets in and I put my hands together. I flex really hard and separate my hands causing the ground under the truck to split apart. The truck starts to fall into the earth so I jump off the roof onto solid ground. I walk towards the fissure and peek down. I jump back barely avoiding getting hit by the truck levitating out of the ground. I turn around and see Steven controlling the truck. I stomp the ground causing a small pillar of stone to shoot out in front of Steven hitting him in the jaw knocking him unconscious. I turn back towards Oliver to see him standing on top of the truck with both hands pressed against the truck roof. He is straining himself and I use my powers to break off the pillar and send it hurling straight at him. He looks over at me and sticks his tongue out then lifts and slams both hands hard against the roof of the truck causing him and the truck to teleport away right before the pillar would take him out

"It's fine. We can get information about where he went from these two" Volt says setting down a bloody and beaten Shert next to unconscious Steven "And we can find and take care of Devin once and for all" He says putting his hockey mask back on and looking towards the sky.
