The music was too loud, my drink was too strong, but I didn't care. I finally felt the burden of the last couple of days lift up off of my shoulders. With every drink, with every song.

Amber was dancing with the boy with the blonde hair. Jason, I think his name was. They were standing awfully close to each other, too close for it to be friendly. I looked over at Zac you was sitting next to me, drinking his 3rd beer.

He caught my gaze and raised his eyebrow. "You wanna dance, Cassie?" I smiled and nodded. I didn't want to just sit at that bar all night after all. Besides, Zac is fun and I need all the fun I can get with everything going on.

We weren't standing close to each other, unlike Amber and Jason. Well, that was until Zac hooked his left arm around my waist and pulled me close to him. It was a little too close for my liking, but instead of making a scene, I danced.

Zac placed his other hand on my waist and started to dance as well. As the song progressed, his hands went lower and lower until they rested on my butt. I didn't realise this straight away as I was caught up in the music, but when he gave a tight squeeze, I broke out of the spell and gasped.

"Get your hands off of me Zac!" I tried to push him away but he didn't budge. He started to kiss my neck whilst his hands explored my body.

"Stop it Zac! I swear to god if you don't stop then I'll... I'll..." I rolled my head back from the sensation of being touched by Zac, but all I could think about was how his touch was nothing compared to Shawns. His hands found their way to my breasts and he just let them rest there. He started to kiss and suck higher and higher on my neck until he reached my face.

He looked me in the eyes before smashing his lips onto mine. He was rough, aggressive, hungry. I realised that this wasn't what I wanted so when he asked for entrance I refused and tried to push him away again. My weak arms did nothing but make him squeeze harder with his hands.

He forced his tongue into my mouth and shoved it down my throat, making me gag.

He pulled away ever so slightly, just enough to say, "Come on Cassie. Don't be a buzz kill. I know you want me. You know you want this."

He was right. I did want this. Just not with him. I continued to push him before I gave up with that method and decided to approach this a different way. I brought my knee up and with all my might, I kneed him where the sun don't shine.

"I said, stop it." I hissed at him. He looked at me with pure anger. "You're a crazy psycho. You know that?" His words slurred in his mouth. He reached out to me but before he could grab hold of my arm, a fist flew into his jaw.

I was stunned and shocked by what had just happened, especially when I saw the face of who the fist belonged to.

"Shawn!?" I gasped when he went in to punch Zac again. Zac began to fight back and the crowd surrounded in a circle. With my hand over my mouth I looked over at Amber. She looked just as surprised as I was and mouthed "wft!?" I shrugged hesitantly and returned my attention to the action.

Zac had landed a few punches on Shawn and vice versa. I had to do something about this. I stepped into the cleared space and squeezed in between them. I was lucky that I hadn't gotten kicked or punch, but it was close.

I closed my eyes and at the top of my lungs shouted, "STOP!" The club went silent and the music stopped. "Just stop it. Both of you."

Zac, being the jerk he suddenly became tonight said, "You called him Shawn, not Mr Mendes. What's up there, hey, Cassie?" I gulped and somehow avoided the question. "Look, dickhead. I don't have to tell you anything. You don't own me and you sure as hell mean nothing to me. Got that?" He shook his head in anger, looked around the club, then left.

I let out the breath I didn't know I was holding in and went outside once I was sure he had left. Sure enough, Shawn had followed me, looking anxious. "Are you okay, Cassiopeia?" There it is. That name.

I had planned to put on a brave face and not make a fool out of myself, but failed. I shook my head as a single tear somehow escaped. As it reached my cheek, Shawn brought his hand up and brushed it away.

I took a good look at him. He had a cut just above his eyebrow and on his cheek. I could already see a black eye forming around his right eye. I couldn't believe that he did that for me. Just looking at him and what he went through made me even more upset.

He pulled me into an embrace and held me tight. His hand rubbed my back as I buried my head into his chest. I could feel his heart beat. That made this moment real.

"Is there anything I can do?" I asked, sniffing a little.
"Don't worry, I think you've been through enough for today." He whispered into my hair.

I felt terrible about not doing anything. "At least let me clean you up." I giggled a little at this and started to sway.

"You're drunk." He stated, letting out a sigh.
"Well obviously, genius. That's what happens when you drink." I giggled again. What was I doing? I was making a complete fool out of myself.

"I'm not going to leave you like this. I think it's best if you stayed the night at mine." He continued to rub circles on my back.

"I'm a big girl though. And I have Amber to look after me." I furrowed my brows.
"Isn't she drunk as well?" He asked.

"Well yeah but-" I started.
"But nothing. It would make me feel better if you came with me."

I couldn't help myself but to smile. I nodded and pulled out of the embrace. He offered me his hand which I gladly accepted and we walked to his car.
