I lay in bed throughout the rest of the day, trying to figure out a way to get past Zac. If I told Shawn then he would tell the whole college and if I didn't then he would take advantage of me.

Both the options were horrible but I didn't want to ruin Shawn's career and have him fired. So in a way, the options are to cheat on Shawn unwilling or ruin Shawn's career. Either way I'll hurt him.

I decided to just not tell Shawn for now but find a way to do it soon. My head perked up as I head a knock on the door. I sighed knowing that I was going to have to haul my lazy ass off of my bed.

I opened the door to no other than Shawn. I chewed on my lip nervously, not really sure what to say. I stepped aside, allowing him into the dorm.

As soon as I closed the door he turned to face me and said, "What happened? Did I do something wrong? I'm sorry. The impression that you gave me before was that you were fine with it." By this point he was pacing the room, shaking his head.

Guilt struck me like a bullet and I grabbed his shoulders to keep him still. "You didn't do anything wrong, okay? It was all me. I just... wasn't in the moment." He looked relieved but I hated lying to him.

"Um, I've got a class so I'll come by later?"

"No, Ambers here. Don't worry. I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Yeah, sure. Bye, Cassiopeia." And then he left. After what felt like 5 seconds later, there was another knock on the door.

I opened the door to Alex, the geeky boy who I had met in the cafeteria. We just looked at each other for a moment or two until it became a little too awkward.

"Um, Ambers not here. She should be in about later though." I said awkwardly.

"Oh okay. I was just dropping off the assignment from class." I furrowed my eyebrows. "She missed class? How come?"

His eyes widened, "Oh... she didn't tell you?" I placed my hand on my hip, "Tell me what, Alex?" What was Amber hiding from me? I know that I was hiding Shawn from her and we weren't that close but surely she would tell me... right?

"Umm she's at the hospital. For her checkup." I took a deep breath before saying, "What checkup?"

He shook his head, "You should hear it from her."
"Come on please just tell me." I begged.

He shook his head and mumbled a few words to himself before handing me the papers and walking away.

I shut the door with my hip and put the papers onto Ambers bed so she wouldn't miss them.

Why was Amber in hospital? Why didn't she tell me? Is she okay? These thoughts ran through my head the whole night as I lay there wide awake.

Every since I moved here my life has turned upside down. With Shawn, Zac, Alex and Amber. Who knew that 4 people could change my life completely?

It was around midnight when she finally came back to the dorm. By this point I was just sitting on my bed twiddling my thumbs.

"Hey, Cass! Where you waiting up?" I took no hesitation to say, "Why didn't you tell me?" She furrowed her eyebrows before spotting the papers on her bed. She put the pieces together in no time.

"Alex came by, didn't he?" I simply nodded. "He didn't tell me what was wrong though. Only where you were."

"Cass, the thing is, it's not that bad. It's going to be life changing though. I'm going to need support and help with this. Cass I need you to be there for me."

"For goodness sakes Amber just tell me."

She finally opened her mouth and said-
