I don't think that I could have been more glad that Shawn wasn't teaching today. Obviously I did love to see him and spend time with him, but I think that the feeling is mutual when I say that it's way too awkward to even be in the same room.

After what had happened the day before, I didn't think that I could ever show my face in public again. I had to cope sitting next to Zac, and when Monday came around, I would have to face Shawn again.

When Mr Miller strolled into class late, Zac still wasn't here. At this point, I couldn't care less about him and I honestly wished that he wouldn't want to show his face either.

Turned out that the odds were against my favour. He snuck in through the door at the back of the class and charged for his seat next to me before Mr Miller turned around.

He turned to look at me and then smiled. My anger was on the verge of breaking out, but I collected myself and simply said, "Oh right, it's you. The one that takes advantage of girls when they are drunk. After that you still have the nerve to smile at me? Piss. The. Hell. Off."

He laughed. "Really? That was last night, babe. I know that you want me. You can't help it, oh wait, sorry. I forgot that you were already taken." He smirked, knowing that he had confused me.

I wasn't 'with' anyone. I mean, Shawn and I kissed but that's all. "What do you mean? Pick your next words very wisely Zac."

He didn't seem the tiniest bit intimidated and I don't blame him. "You know, the little thing you've got going in with Mr Mendes. Don't think that I-we didn't notice. We all know that every one of you girls has a thing for him. What we don't know is that what he's doing what he is with you, he may be doing with other students. Let me ask, has he gotten into your pants yet?"

I couldn't take any more. I stood up and slapped him hard across the cheek, right where Shawn had punched him.
"Sorry. Did I hurt your ego?" I mimicked as if I was talking to a baby.

The class was staring at me now, shocked of what I had just done. Mr Miller looked like he was about to explode. Zac was still looking up at me so I took the opportunity to say, "Ever try that again, you will regret it. Hey everyone, I hope you realise how much of an asshole Zac is."

Some people were starting to whisper to each other and I knew that the rumours would start sooner or later. Without saying any more, I stormed out of the class, slamming the door behind me. From the other side of the door, I could hear Mr Miller saying to Zac that disrespecting women is not the right way to go and there will be consequences next time.

Satisfied, I decided to get some fresh air. That was the last lesson of the day for me and it was Friday, so I could pretty much do whatever.

Truthfully, I was more disappointed than angry at Zac. He seemed like a good guy and a good friend but he had to go and prove me wrong.

I headed out into town and found a cute little cafe on the corner of a street. I ordered a coffee and although it was cold, I chose to sit outside. It was fairly quiet considering most people work and school days weren't quite over yet.

That was when I caught a glimpse of him across the street. It was as if he was following me. First the club and now here? That wasn't nearly as bad as what I saw next. A petit girl had her hand laced in Shawn's. He had fiery red hair and sunglasses that covered most of her face even though she didn't need them.

I couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy as I watched them way their way down the street. Shawn turned his head towards the cafe and inspected it, probably deciding whether or not they should get a drink here or something to eat.

That was when we made eye contact. His eyes widened and he lost his grip on the girl next to him. She didn't seem to really care as she was drooling over an overpriced dress in a shop window.

I could almost feel the guilt radiating off of him. I tightened my jaw and closed my eyes, trying to regain my control. It wasn't like we were dating or anything, but we had shared something special. Well, at least I thought that it was special.

He whispered something to the girl who nodded her head, still not paying much attention to him. He crossed the road and came over to me.

"Can I sit?" He asked, scratching the back of his neck nervously

I stood up and said in a dull tone, "Actually I was just leaving." I avoided looking up at him.

"Please, just sit for two minutes." Hope danced in his eyes. I rolled my eyes but nodded. "Two minutes."

We sat back down and Shawn said, "Look, it's not what you think-"

"Really?" I cut him off, "You're going with that? Wow. We aren't even dating it was one kiss." I twiddled with my thumbs under the table, itching for a reply.

He leaned half way over the table, resting his arms on it. "Look, that kiss meant something to me and I know that you felt it too. I don't care if it's 'wrong' and I don't care that I'm your teacher. I want you Cassiopeia. I need you."

I finally lifted my head so I was looking at him. "I'm sorry. Obviously it didn't mean that much to you." I said, pointing towards the petit girl.

"I felt horrible and angry with myself after I told you that this couldn't be and that's when Hannah called. We dated back in High School for two years and we broke up when we went separate ways after school had ended. She called last night and I regret answering. I would do anything to go back to last night and fix everything."

In a small voice I asked, "What happened when I left?" The guilt returned to his face.

"That's all I needed to know. Your two minutes are up." With that, I collected my things I left Shawn sitting at he table with his head buried in his hands.
