"See. You have those sad puppy dog eyes. I told you that you were upset," Chris said as she opened her door.
"I am not sad," Courtney argued.
"Whatever you say," Chris sighed.
"I'm not," Courtney insisted as she sat down on the couch. Chris went straight for the freezer and pulled out a tub of ice cream, throwing two spoons at her from across the room.
"Chris! What the hell?" Courtney screeched, catching the spoons before they could crash into her face.
"Ice cream will help," Chris said, plopping down on the couch next to her.
"I'm not sad. Damn it," Courtney whined.
"Fine. But we are going out anyway," Chris said, his mouth full of ice cream.
"The guy you dated for three years got with another girl a couple months after your breakup and now she's pregnant, so get out of your sweatpants, damn it," Chris ordered playfully.
"Ugh. Fine," Courtney groaned, dragging herself off the couch.
"And by the way this is a real date now!" Chris shouted across the apartment.
"What! No!" Courtney protested, running out of her bedroom, frantically.
"Forgetting something?" Chris asked, trying not to laugh.
"Shit," Courtney muttered, realizing she forgot pants. She ran back into her room, coming back out with jeans on.
"Why does it have to be real?" Courtney whined.
"Because you haven't been on a date in like three years and you deserve to have a nice first one before I make you a tinder account," Chris said proudly, grabbing her hand and dragging her to the car.
"I don't want a tinder account," Courtney groaned.
