23. "cancel her room"
To: marriott@hotels.com
From: robertdowneyjr@gmail.comI'm emailing on behalf of Ms. Courtney Sargent. She asked me to cancel her room. She is arriving late tomorrow evening after the rest of the cast arrives, so we will need extra security in the lobby. Thank you.

"Dude, that sounds too formal," Anthony whined, staring at the computer screen.
"It's my email, Mackie," Robert scoffed.
"It's my ship," Anthony protested.
"It's my ship," Robert argued.

We are pleased to inform you that
Ms. Sargent's room has been cancelled. Thank you for choosing Marriott. We hope you enjoy your stay.|
"She's gonna kill us," Anthony whispered excitedly.
"Hell yeah she is!" Robert cheered, high fiving him.

"What do you mean cancelled?" Courtney hissed, trying to stay calm as she argued with the concierge.
"Court, it's fine. You can just stay with me. We're only here for a couple days," Chris sighed, wrapping an arm around her shoulders.
"No, no. It's fine. I'll just stay with Elsa and Chris," Courtney declined as they went into the elevator.
"You sure?" Chris asked, walking her to the Hemsworths' room.
"Yeah. I'm sure it'll be fine. Thanks for the offer, though," Courtney sighed, knocking on the door. Chris Hemsworth cracked open the door, only making enough room for them to see a sliver of his face.
"Hey, my room got cancelled somehow-- can I crash with you guys--" Courtney started.
"No!" Hemsworth interjected quickly, not even giving her a chance to finish.
"That was harsh-- sweetie, we love you, but this is our first time away from the kids in a long damn time. I love you, but I love sex more," Elsa piped in, peering through the crack in the door.
"Uh, alright," Courtney shrugged, completely shocked at what she'd just witnessed.
"Come on, Court. You can just stay in my room," Chris offered again.
"Okay," Courtney sighed defeatedly. Chris grabbed the luggage out of her hand, carrying it to his room. As the door opened, she groaned internally, realizing that there was only one bed in the room. It would be kind of hard to keep denying how badly she wanted to kiss him while sleeping in the same bed.
"You want to go grab some food?" Chris asked, putting her luggage in the closet.
"I'm kind of tired. Can we just order in?" Courtney asked, flopping down onto the bed.
"Sounds like a plan-lee, Stan Lee," Chris agreed, flopping down next to her.
"You're such a dork," Courtney scoffed, rolling onto her stomach, looking down at him.
His hand flew absentmindedly to her back, his fingers tracing her spine, pulling her closer until there was no space left between them. Her breath caught in her throat as he flooded her senses. She hadn't thought about his lips much before this split second. She had seen them talk and smile and laugh countless times, but she had never wanted them against her so badly. His lips brushed against hers as though he were testing the waters to see if she were going to kiss him back. She tangled her hands behind his neck, pulling him into a deep kiss. And it felt like the world fell away in that moment.
