After spending the rest of the day at Ben's, the rest of the Losers decided to call it a day and go their separate ways. Bev left first, Lizzy caught Ben sneaking the postcard from earlier into her bag before she went to pick it up but decided to leave it be.

The rest of them all left at once, wanting to quickly visit Josie's for a round of milkshakes. Debbie worked until 17:30 on a Saturday so she could load the bikes into the car and drop the boys off in time for curfew. Lizzy, coming from a rich family, offered to pay for what ever the boys wanted.

"I kinda want a knickerbocker glory, but I don't think I can manage one by myself." Lizzy giggled as they dumped their bikes and walked up to the brightly neon lit diner.
"We can share, if you want." Stan offered, which she accepted with a nod of the head and a smile.

Lizzy hopped into the boys' regular booth first, with Stan sitting beside her and Eddie beside him. The booth, being the biggest in the diner, could usually fit 8 people if they really squeezed. Across from Lizzy sat Richie and then Bill beside him. Monica came over to serve the table due to the fact that Debbie was attending to someone else's order, but the older girl still found the time to wink at her younger sister when she noticed her company.

"Five milkshakes please. Three vanilla, one strawberry and one chocolate. Also, one banana split, two ice cream sundaes and a knickerbocker glory." Richie smiled at Monica. The older girl had no clue how crude Richie could be, she used to babysit him and always thought of him as a quiet, sensitive boy. He mainly kept up this facade in front of her so she would give him a dollar due to his good behaviour.

She smiled and left to put the order into the kitchen, leading Lizzy to turn to Richie and say, "How come you knew what milkshake I wanted?"

The boys turned to each other. They knew the exact answer. It was one of the questions Richie asked when he interrogated Debbie.

None of them, including Richie, knew what to say and an awkward pause fell. "Just guessed you were a vanilla kinda gal. Just like me."

Liz snorted, "You're a vanilla gal?" His eyes widened as he realised his mistake, Stan smirked at his error.

"Well, not a gal but a guy. I'm definitely not a gal, ok?" She raised an eyebrow as Eddie changed the conversation. "How's about we all head down to the Barrens tomorrow?" They all nodded in agreement and began to discuss random things until their shakes and ice cream came.

Lizzy jealously eyed up Richie's sundae. "Can I have a lick, Rich?" She asked politely, aiming her spoon at the layer of syrup covering the frozen treat.
"Sure, if ya give me a kiss." He winked, she disgustedly sighed and muttered, "Nevermind then."

"You weren't complaining the last time, Liz." She laughed and looked at the other boys. His eyes widened as he realised what she was about to say.

"Did Richie ever tell you about our first kiss? Which, by the way, wasn't even a kiss?" They all nodded. Of course he did, he wouldn't shut up about it after it happened, he claimed it was the best day of his life.
