Even before her entourage had rushed to the balcony, Lizzy could tell something was wrong.

It could've been the fact she was previously guzzling the most bitter wine she could find or the desperate need for a cigarette but this feeling had been bubbling all night. It had resided within her since leaving Derry many, many years ago. The feeling that something was wrong with her life, that memories had been snatched from her head. The feeling that almost her entire life had been manipulated by a malicious puppet master, residing behind the scenes and waiting for her to break.

Her hands were shaking now.

She didn't know why.

Maybe it was the concerned whispers that had  started to form from behind her spot on balcony. Lizzy could feel the tense presence of Arianne from behind her, causing her to turn with  around to face the woman. To the party guests, anyone could've been on the phone. A stalker, her doctor, a long lost family member even. But the urgency in the man's voice frightened the publicist so much that she  offered the phone to Liz with a shaking hand.
Lizzy softly placed the phone against her ear and cheek as she tried to find the words to say.

"H-hello? Who is this?" Why was she so on edge? It could've been anyone. So why did she get such an awful feeling?

"It's me, Liz. Mike, Mike Hanlon." Her eyes  widened at the deep voice emitting through the phone. Her knees felt weak at even the mention of his name.
"Hello Mike. How are you?" Liz's voice was shaky, she drew out her words and paused for perhaps longer than she should've, evidently nervous.

"It's back. It's all-" Mike stopped himself,  trying to find the correct words for a woman who probably didn't truly know what the hell was going on. Lizzy's breath caught. She felt like she couldn't breathe.

"It's happening again. Will you come back? Do you remember the promise?" Even Lizzy could tell he was shaky too.
Her hand reached up to her mouth involuntarily in order to cover an overdue gasp.  A single tear shed from her eye and fell down her cheeks. Her porcelain skin had gone even paler from shock.

"Yes."

"See you later. I'll text you the details." He bid her farewell and hung up. The phone was still stuck to her face, her arms had gone numb. Arianne looked totally concerned for her, which only fuelled Lizzy's anxiety.

Finally moving her hand that was currently clamped over her mouth, she wiped the wet streak away from her cheek and started to power walk towards her room. Some people followed her, including Arianne and Betty, all uttering questions that she really didn't have time to answer.
Pulling out her old suitcase from beneath her bed, she looked up at her followers.

"I need one of you to book me a flight to Maine. Bagnor, preferably, it's closest to Derry."
Betty raised an eyebrow. "Where the hell is Derry?"

Lizzy rolled her eyes at the smaller woman, "I just said Maine didn't I? Please hurry up, I need to be there as soon as possible." At this point, she was grabbing clothes  and necessities and throwing them into the case. The singer looked manic, her movements sharp. Arianne tried to vocalise her concerns but  all that managed to come out was, "What the fuck is going on? I have tonnes of promo lined up for you all week."
