"So did you tell Lexi what you want to do for your birthday?" Daryl asked with a slight snicker.

Lexi looked at Daryl oddly, watching him try to hide a smile.

"No" Luke said softly, staring at Lexi with big eyes.

"I thought we were having his party at Nan and Pap's?" Lexi asked, cutting Luke his third helping of pot roast.

"After the party" Daryl choked, coughing to cover his laughter.

"What do you want to do Luke?" Lexi asked, getting nervous watching Daryl's reaction.

"Go camping" Luke said softly

"You boys have a wonderful time" Lexi said, standing up to clear her plate.

"Wait, no Lexi!" Luke said urgently "I asked dad to take us to the campground.  Tank goes there with his parents and he says it's a lot of fun and you'll have some place to pee and won't get poison oak on your butt"

Lexi glared at Daryl who had turned flaming red with laughter.

"Because it's your birthday and because you're the sweetest boy I know, I will gladly go with you, but I think we should leave your dad here at home" Lexi said, giving Daryl another dirty look.

Luke giggled stuffing one last bite of mashed potatoes and roast into his mouth.

"Ugh, I'm stuffed" he said patting his belly. "Dad can I go finish my movie?" he asked

"Yeah, but clear your plate" Daryl said, taking another bite, still smirking at Lexi.

Taking Luke's plate and putting it in the soapy water, Lexi glared again at Daryl and began washing the dishes.

"Aw come on" Daryl said in her ear, pushing up against her from behind.

"I can't believe you told him!" Lexi said mortified.

"I had to...sorta" Daryl said trying not to laugh "he really wanted to go camping and I told him you wouldn't want to do that and he kept hounding me asking why so I told him what happened.  He of all people knows how i feels to get poison oak."

"Right" Lexi said with her own little smile. "Well I told him I'd go but as far as you're concerned my ass is still covered in poison oak and you're not touching it."

"Like that's going to happen" Daryl said huskily in her ear, rubbing his hands all over her backside.

"Well...."Lexi started, completely turned on "You're at least going to have to work for it"

"Mmmm an incentive" Daryl said kissing her neck, sliding his hand softly on the bare skin of her stomach.

"You should get Luke in the tub so I can finish these dishes and we can get to bed early" Lexi said, feeling her body burning with desire.

"Way to make me work for it" Daryl laughed, knowing exactly what to do to drive her crazy with want.

"Hush" Lexi smiled, hearing Daryl go in the living room telling Luke it was time for his bath.

Finishing the dishes and putting away the leftovers, Lexi then picked up Luke's toys in the living room making everything tidy.  Walking up the stairs, she stopped at Luke's room listening to them chat.

"I can't wait until Friday dad, and now that Lexi will go camping we're going to have so much fun!" Luke said excitedly

"Yeah, we'll have a great time buddy" Daryl said softly.

"Dad....can I ask you something?" Luke asked hesitantly

"Sure little man, what's on your mind?" Daryl asked
