The this was, Cinder didn't really notice that the Lunar Soldiers were on the Solstice with them. She hardly even felt any difference of them being there on the ship with the crew.

Except for the fact that they barked at the top of their voices whenever they spoke, ate all of their food, and shook the ship as they walked and treated the crew like animals. She wondered why that kind of treatment was going the way it was, and not the other way around.

Cinder wasn't the only one to see it, and neither were the crew members. Thorne was near the breaking point as the five Lunar Soldiers prowled about the ship as though they owned it. Yes, they were unruly when Wolf wasn't looking. But that didn't give them the right to do whatever they wanted when Wolf's back was turned.

The one taking it the hardest was Scarlet. The Soldiers poked fun at her and told her about all the things Wolf had done and tried to do in her absence. Some of them were sweet, while other stories were beyond barbaric. Four days underway, Scarlet finally snapped.

Her nostrils flaring in anger, as the tips of her ears grew more red than her hair, she went up to Wolf. "We need to talk," she snarled through her teeth.

Taken aback by Scarlet's rage, Wolf took a step back from her. Smart man, Cinder thought. "What's the problem?" he asked, careful as he tread over the thin exterior that was containing Scarlet's violent tendencies.

Her hands balled into fists at her sides. "Your men. That's the problem."

To this matter, Wolf was completely oblivious. He didn't respond to Scarlet right away, which urged her to take matters into her own hands. Before the Captain of the soldiers could stop her, she managed to pinch him at his earlobe and proceeded to drag him into the Map Room.

Viewing this, some of the crew members chortled. But the Lunar Soldiers were struck with alarm. Their faces ashen and blank, eyes wide with panic. Cinder knew why. It was because Scarlet had been on their ship for a long time ... and they knew the full extent of her fury.

Cinder hadn't seen it in action, yet Thorne assured her that Scarlet could scare off the devil with the ways she berated. The shuddering of Thorne's spine had been more than enough to let the message sink into her head. Now, she could actually hear some of the things Scarlet was bellowing. Half of the stuff she couldn't understand because she'd been a sheltered child and heard her first swear from a drunk when she was sixteen.

While Cinder couldn't begin to understand some of the things Scarlet was saying to Wolf, the crew and soldiers could perfectly note what was coming out her mouth. Silence fell over the deck, and all that could be heard was the sound of the depths of Hell pouring out of a twenty-year-old's mouth. The best part was when one of the crew covered a younger member's ears.

"Bet you ten pence his soul's jumping ship," Horus whispered to Boars, as if afraid that Scarlet would overhear.

After gulping, Boars replied, "Twenty says he'll die within a few days."

"Deal."

(AN: Sorry guys, but to keep this G Rated, I have to skip the bits previous to where Scarlet and Wolf currently are in the argument. Hope you can understand, but just because she's a pirate, and it's pretty much cannon that Scarlet swears, I will have no foul language in this story. Well ... at least, not right now.)

"You have to get a handle on your men!" Scarlet huffed as a finale to her long, exasperating monologue. It was great to let off all the steam and aggravation that built up inside her over the last four days.
