Under an overhang of rock on the island, Thorne weighed anchor to the Rampion. For the dozenth times, they tried to go over their plan. Surprisingly, this time it worked.
Thorne placed a map of the island on the table in the Map room. Cinder was astonished at the detail to the map, and how it labeled section of the island. One major part was called Mischief, another was C. Rebel, one was S. Rebel. The last part, that Cinder didn't think sounded too bad, was named Shell Cove.
There were several other sections of the island. Though none of them were even an eighth the size of the major parts. In total, there were ten sections to the island.
"Okay," Thorne began. "I've been on the island before. And I'll tell you from personal experience, it's not pretty."
"As have I," Jacin told them. "It's been five years, and it's still ingrained into my mind."
"See. If even Jacin thinks it's horrible, then it's horrible," Thorne reasoned. Gaining a scowl from Jacin. "Now, Wolf and Jacin, you can pass for a guard and a prisoner, yes?"
Jacin nodded, as did Wolf. Though the Captain of the Lone Wolf was less than enthusiastic about playing the part of the prisoner. Even if the cuffs he would have to wear would only be made of metal and could be easily broken by him.
"Good." Thorne pointed to the S. Rebel portion of the map. "Get here, and release as many prisoners as you can. The most sane would be more optimal."
Thorne then looked to Scarlet. "You and Winter can take the Rampion and sail close to Shell Cove. Cause a distraction and let the cannons fire on the guardposts."
Scarlet's brown eyes twinkled with delight. "You mean, I get to-"
"Yes," groaned Thorne. "You can ... mm mrm"
"I'm sorry," Scarlet grinned. "I can what?"
He clenched his jaw and weld his eyes shut. "You can command my ship." He took off the crescent moon necklace that controlled the ship with thought and handed it to Scarlet. Who held it as though it was a golden chalice.
"Now I swear," Thorne scolded. "If there is a single scratch on my ship when I get it back, I will personally see to it that-"
Wolf cleared his throat and Scarlet crossed her arms over her chest. "You'll what? Send me to my room?"
Thorne muttered to himself and shook his head. "Maybe I will, Benoit."
Before Thorne could tell the group where he and Cinder were going, Cinder begged the question, "What do all the sections of the map mean?"
Wolf and Jacin grimaced, not saying a word. Winter and Scarlet were with Cinder. Though they were happy to help by going to Shell Cove, they didn't know how it had earned it's name. At least, not the real reason.
Their captain sighed gravely, and pointed to Mischief first. "Mischief is the section of the island where people who caused trouble in Luna are kept to be sentenced or punished. Crimes like vandalism, common theft, and little offenses will get you there."
Next up was the C. Rebel section. A part of the map that was much bigger than the other Rebel section. "C. Rebel is the place for all citizens who defy Levana's rule. The C stands for Common or Citizen. S. Rebel is like C. Rebel, but worse and more dangerous. It holds rebels, but the S stands for Soldiers. As in ... Levana's Hybrid Army."
Everyone looked to Wolf, who was digging his nails into the table and avoiding eye contact with everyone. Gently, Scarlet covered the back of his hand with her palm and fingers. Slowly, he relaxed, if only a little.
