"These are delicious," Alivia murmured eating the last of the fluffy waffles. "Aha thank you Livia." Peter said resting his arms against the table. Doing so, he rested his head against the palm of his hand. "No no, you don't understand." Alivia said suddenly serious.

Raising a brow, Peter laughed. "Are you okay Alivia?" "Fine. I usually get like this when I haven't had sleep in a while." She said grinning lazily. "So you're slap happy?" He questioned.

Nodding quickly Alivia snapped her finger. "That's the phrase." She muttered as she stood. "Can you please guide me to my tent?" She asked the still sitting boy. With his head tilting ever so slightly to side, Alivia turned away from him. And before he could even utter out an answer, she was already walking to her destination.

Taking two long strides, Peter made his way next to her. "You do realize we need to talk about what happened right?" He asked, popping the question over to the smaller girl. "What do you want to know?" She asked looking up at him.

"Uh, well what happened? Who took you?" From where Alivia stood, she could see as his nose scrunch in confusion. As he turned his gaze towards to her, she quickly turned her head to face the open world in front of her.

"Well, his name is Jefferson. He was someone that I've known for a really long time. We use to be so close-" Alivia explained. And as she did so, she could feel her heart tug in pain of the memories that now clouded her mind.

"We use to be close, but then he didn't come." Alivia murmured pushing her shoulders up awkwardly as she shifted her gaze up to Peter. "He didn't come to save me." She said taking a deep intake of breathe.

"What happened was slightly bizarre. When we got back to where he took me we talked like we use to do. It would usually start with the both of bickering and then we were friends again. I found out that I was being replaced by another girl named Makenna and, well, I got myself back here." She briefly explained trying her best to avoid the subject.

She watched as he nodded his head. "We're here," he said nudging his head to the tent. Alivia could feel her eyebrows furrow as she looking over at it. The tent wasn't as shabby as she thought it would be. The blue was faded, but the condition of the material was amazing.

Not wanting to be alone, she brought up a conversation. "Did you know a small part of your brain called the amygdala." She began as she walked through the fold of the tent, knowing Peter would be following behind since she was talking to him.

"It enables a person to read someone else's face for clues to how they are feeling." She said as she crawled into the cushioned bed. Peering over the sheets she saw Peter stand at the entrance with his arms folded.

"Sit." She said giving a curt of a nod to the end of her bed. Taking a seat, Alivia watched as he carefully set himself down onto her bed. "How are you doing?" She asked, she knew her face showed how concerned she was for him. But she couldn't help but feel a pull of sorrow for the boy.

"Why do you ask?" "It's just when I saw you, it looked like you lost yourself." She said, her lips barley above the sheets. "To be honest with you Livia, I did." He said. His gaze was locked with his hands, not daring to look up at her.

"When you were gone, I tried to follow. But where you went I couldn't go. And so I went to the Skull Cave where all of the magic or Neverland is held. And well let's just say that its power is fading away." He said finally looking up at her.

"Don't fret." She said offering a smile to him. "Maybe it'll be restored after a while." She said, bringing a positive idea into the air. With a smile bouncing onto his face, he looked down at her.

She had never realized how dark the green in his eyes were. No, they weren't one distinct color of green, but layers of different greens twirling in wonder.

"Goodnight Livia." He said standing and turning the light to nothing but darkness. "Goodnight Peter," she whispered into the absence of the room.

When Peter had made his way back to where the other boys were, he couldn't help but think about how close he had been drawn to Alivia.

When he had first met the bruised up girl, he thought he would never get a brink closer to her. But here they were now, and it felt like he had known her since birth. Especially since she had opened up so easily to him just now.

"Wow, the Mad Hatter and Alivia huh?" Newt muttered looking over at Felix. With a smile creeping up on his face, Felix chuckled as he shook his head "no," he said over to Newt.

"What?" Zander pipped up wanting to know what the two older boys were talking about. "Nothing," Felix dismissed smugly. "So did anything else happen?" Blake asked from the end of the table. "We made eye contact," Peter said not thinking much of it.

"Eye contact? Oh boy I hope you were using protection." Nixon muttered sarcastically. Hearing a snicker Ace covered his mouth from the bust of laughter that was about to leave from him.

"Tell me, how do you feel around Alivia?" Felix asked leaning in closer to Peter. "Well sometimes I feel a wee bit sick." Peter said looking over to his trusted friend.

"Ah it looks like Peter has something that starts with the letter L," Felix said smirking ever-so-slightly. "Leprosy?" Zander question. Laughing Newt shook his head.

"No my friend, Peter is in love." Feeling heat rise to his cheeks Peter attempted to play it off cooly. "I've never found someone that love my waffles so much," he remarked.

"She does love your waffles." Newt agreed. "It's the cinnamon, it has to be the cinnamon."
