The three boys studied the crowd, before looking at each other with huge grins plastered on their faces, signalling each other that they were set. Nixon started the beat with a soft tempo, slow and steady. That's when Zander joined, at a more fast tempo, yet still stayed soft with the bangs. The camp had gone silent as the lost boys watched in what seemed to be awe.

Blake stood for a couple counts of music. And then it went silent. Alivia could feel her breathe hitch, knowing that what she as going to witness next would be absoultey amazing. As she looked more closer, she became aware on the fact that Nixon was muttereing under her breathe;

possible numbers to signal the others on when to start back up. All three banged against the drums lights shooting up into the sky. Exploding before they could reach the stars. The three boys drummed in sync no longer soft and quietly.

But loud and profound of what they were doing. Boys around them started to dance along with the beat, letting out a few hollers of carefree happiness.

Peter looked over at her, an easy-going grin lacing his lips. "This is usually when you start to dance." He muttered as the boys started to draw into the campfire, moving along to the sound of the music.

Looking back at Peter her face broke out into a smile. "Then let's dance!" She said dragging him towards where the other boys were dancing. Alivia wasn't exactly sure on what she was doing.

But it felt right. She saw Ace, Kit, and Reese taking turns on doing stupid things. After each go they'd brake out into supreme fits of laughter. Something that Alivia had never seen before.

Turning back towards Peter he brought out a pipe, bringing it to his chapped lips he blew in the holes. Making a soft tune buzz up and into the air.

Though the night was filled with upmost happiness, Alivia could not help but feel a pang of sadness, though she tried her hardest to avoid the feeling. It kept coming back. Like an annoying fly that didn't know its place.

"You are leaving so soon?" A voice questioned from behind her, peering around her shoulder she watched as two boys walked over. It was Zander and Blake. Blake was one of those boys that you didnt know what he was thinking. With an emtionless face, and no desire to talk ever, she was often left clueless on how he felt.

But Zander would make up for the quiet boy. He was a lot more talkative than more people that she had met, but that didn't bother her much.

Shrugging she gave a forced smile. "It was just really crowded and all," She replied facing the approaching boys. Zander nodded, a look of understanding sympathy flashing across his face.

"What about you two?" "What do you mean?" "I mean, you are both out here too...Why?" "Just wondering why you would go away from camp by yourself." Zander answered bluntly. "What do you mean?" "You know with all that had happen with Mathew and all." "Who do you know what happened-"

"That's why Alivia has learned how to defend herself." A voice said walking up. A voice all too familiar. Zander nodded forcing his gaze over to Blake, who returned the gaze. Does everyone know what happened? The question nagged at her thought process.

"Alivia, I want to show you something," Peter said nudging his head, letting her know that she needed to follow. Giving the two boys one last look she followed him without a protest.

They walked side by side. Stepping at the same time, with the earth beneath them cowering as their feet came down. "So where are we going exactly?" She quizzed looking up at him.

"You'll see," he answered looking straight ahead. She nodded, not pleased with the answer that she had got, but she didn't allow it to bother her. Coming to halt Peter paused glancing back at her.

"Are ready?" Alivia nodded keeping her eyes on where his hands went. Pulling back the limbs that covered the entrance he led her inside.

"Woah." Was the only word that she could muster out. "It's beautiful," she muttered. Peter nodded in agreement "It's where I go to calm down." He said walking forward to the river bank.

There the water moved softly through the pit. The sound relaxing her shoulders. Taking a seat next to the boy she brought her fingers out. The cool liquid seeping through her fingers.

"What's wrong?" He asked quietly. "Excuse me?" "Don't tell me you actually thought I wouldn't tell." "Ah, it's nothing really." "It doesn't seem like it's nothing." He inquired raising a brow at her. "It's just I'm never good at explaining things." "You don't have to." "What?" Alivia's heart skipped a beat.

"There's something special about this place Alivia. There's a type of magic here where you can show me your memories." "My... My memories? Peter I don't think that's a good idea." "Unless you want to verbally explain why you who you are, I think this is your best option." He said firmly.

Alivia opened her mouth, yet nothing would come out. "Why do you want to know me so bad?" "Because, I want to see what made you, you is all." Shrugging Alivia looked away, down into the stream. "One memory from you, one memory from me." He taunted.

Alivia looked back up and nodded. "Okay Livia, take my hands," he said holding out both hands at once. Taking his into her own she closed her eyes. "Now all you have to do is remember."
