"Again I want to apologize, little lady, I've not only failed Peter but you too." Felix said to the still dazed girl. "You didn't fail anyone," Alivia reassured with a pressed smile.

"She's a witch, you couldn't have stopped her even if you wanted to." She pointed out before leaning back and against the bed frame.

Ace huffed, "Plus, failing means yer playin." He added on, trying to motivate Felix as well. "Makenna es ta jobby." He hissed under his breathe. Alivia looked at the younger boy and smiled. "Don't get too worked up over her, like you said, she's a pile of shit."

"No matter what, we need to figure out what to do to stop her." Felix spoke his eyes fixed on the ground. The three sat in complete silence, and only one name came to mind. "Where's Newt?" She quizzed looking over to the duo.

Felix shifted giving a glance towards Ace. "Guys," Alivia warned, raising a brow. "He's out by the lake." Felix answered as Alivia stood her hand resting upon the hilt of her sword. "I'll be back." "Wait, alone?" "Yes alone."

Alivia walked out of the tent with ease. It hadn't been twenty-four hours yet and tensions were already rising in camp. With her head held high she walked in an even paced manner.

Looking to either side of her as she walked, she met eyes with Peter. A set glare was sent in her direction, and in return, she glared right back at him.

Turning her head away from him, she walked in the tangle jumble of trees. Coming up to the lake, she saw where sandy colored haired boy sat.

With her face softening, she sat down beside of him. "Hey Newt," she said flashing a smile. "Hey doll, surprised to see you." "And why would you say that?" "Well, with everything that 'Pan' is claiming I thought you'd hate to see me face." He explained.

Alivia shook her head to herself. "Newt, look at me." She said firmly. Turning his head, he finally met her gaze. "It's not your fault." She began taking in a shaky breathe.

"You couldn't have stopped it any way, shape, or form. Please don't blame yourself for what she did. You don't deserve to be torn up over someone else's decisions." She said her throat beginning to sting.

"You don't believe that, do you?" Newt questioned his eyes full of concern. "Because I actually could've." Alivia said flatly. "You guys didn't even know she existed, I did." She said becoming disgusted with herself.

"Doll, this whole blaming thing is a two way street. In order for me to stop blaming myself, you have to too." He said staring at her. Nodding, Alivia didn't have enough faith that she wouldn't start crying if she talked.

"We can, and we will, get through this together." He said pulling her into a hug. Alivia let herself fall into him, she felt her cheek press against his shoulder as she brought her arms out to hug him back.

"Newt I'm scared," she whispered closing her eyes to contain the flow of tears. "What happens if we can't get him back to how he use to be." "We just have to really fight for it."

He pulled away and look at her, a smile grazing his lips. "Like how we had to fight for that croissant." Alivia laughed recalling the rather dramatic event.

"See doll," Newt began wiping away a single shed tear "we can get him back. Just gotta keep our smiles." He advised. She nodded thinking up a plan.
