Quick side note: I swear I'm not making Peter OC. This is just what Neverland was like before Peter knew that he needed to find Henry or else he was going to die. (In other words before he became Pan) Peter will eventually turn into the dark Pan that we all met in OUAT, and Neverland will turn into a cruel place as well. But, I'm building up the story to that point. Thank you for reading! :)

"As, you are well aware, the dark queen has taken a hold of the savior," the women stated. Scoffing the man rolled his eyes shifting his weight from his left foot to the right in a quick motion.

Sitting there in the cold lifeless room, she could feel herself become one with the concreted floor. Glancing up at the barred window, there was barely any hope left inside of her in escaping now. Crawling over to the window, she winced as the closing cuts and numb bruises that painted her body hissed as pressure was beholden onto them.

"I believe everyone is well aware of that already." The man huffed staring holes through the white haired queen's face. Clearing her throat she placed the crystal cup of tea down with ease. "What happens if I tell that she has escaped?"

Peering out the window her hands slowly grasped onto the ironed bars in dear life. She squeezed her eyes tightly shut in all hopes to clear the horrendous thoughts of doom that clouded her mind. And in the brink of last hope she muttered the only phrase that she believed in with her whole heart and soul. "I believe in the Shadow, I believe in Peter Pan." And for the first time in her life, she prayed that the rumors had been true. That a shadow would come and bring children away, to another place, to another realm.

The man's clouded blue orbs widened. He shifted once again so that he was now standing upright. Pondering for a moment he bluntly asked the question that the queen knew he'd ask. "How?" The queen gave off a ghost of a smile, glancing down her line of vision went lazily to the cup that was sitting motionless on the table beside of her.

A single salty tear crept its way down her pale cheek. With her eyes still closed she took in a shaky breathe. The gray orbs snapped opened as she sensed someone in front of her. Her eyes rested on a Shadow. Her heart skipped a beat in complete shock. The rumors had been true all along. That there was hope when the word seemed useless. Watching its movements closely, the Shadow reached his hand out, close enough for her to reach without having to move from her place on the cold, hard ground.

"She believes," she simply whispered. The man's facial expressions morphed into confusion. "What?" He asked more confused than ever before, opening his mouth to ask another question. A boy ran into the room. He was short with no hair sprouting from his head, and his stomach was far too large for how small his leg were. The queen glanced nervously at him while he nodded his head quickly, as if he was confirming the horribly unasked question.

She glanced back at the sealed shut door in nervousness that a knight would come barging in. Biting her lip she shifted her gaze back to the Shadow. Leaning forward her fingers grazed the hand of the Shadow before she let out a small hiss at the constant pain thumping against her body. As her rather small hand softly fell into its hand. To break the bars, the shadow gave on hard tug, jolting her entire body. She gasped as the pain was thumped in a quicken beat, chasing her insides to hiss in pain.

The queen arose her puffy white dress staying perfectly still as she stood elegantly. "You must leave immediately the dark queen knows that she, the savior, has escaped from her palace and you are present in this realm," she said speaking quickly as she ushered him out. "You must find her and bring her back so that we can heal her. And I not only mean physically, but mentally as well."

The Shadow wasted no time as he shot off into the cloudless sky. She exhaled as the cold wind filled her lungs, spreading a sense peace through her veins. Her eyes trailed the the magical realm below. She would have no idea that somewhere so dangerous could be so beautiful from a different perspective. Bringing her right arm out so that she was now flying just like the Shadow she felt herself smile with ease.

"How do I find her?" He questioned his heart racing a mile a minute. So many questions sprouted into his head, with absolutely no time for the answers that he needed. "All the answers that you seek are hidden in the the town you call home," the queen answered flatly. The man rose a brow in a force of habit. "Storybrooke?" He muttered under his breathe now realizing how to find her.

Her dark brown hair flew behind her. She forgot of all the pain that she had contained for so long. She forgot all about about her dainty mother. All about her lifeless father. All about the heartless queen. All about the occurrences that had taken place in her life. And for the first time in months she smiled a true smile. The Shadow glanced over to her his yellow eyes gleaming brightly in the dark night.

The man offered a curt of a nod before his eyes left the queen for one last time. "I'll retrieve her, I'll seek Henry and see what he can do to help in the quest of finding her." he stated ready to make his portal into the land without magic. The queen smiled sweetly resting her hands clasped together in front of her. "And for that you are greatly thanked, you have cease to disappoint me." And with that he turned on his heel, leaving determined.

She closed the restless eyes, the seconds of sleep that she had lucked out of experiencing ticking back to her. It was hours before her eyes fluttered open. And when they did, her eyes landed on the glimmering water with the riffle of waves clashing against one another. Her eyes gleamed off of the reflection of the liquid. And within a second she was brought down closer to the substance.

She looked up at the Shadow who was looking right back at her. Muttering a "thank you" she brought down the tattered blue and purple hand. Her fingertips glided across the cool ocean pool that sent shivers down her spine.

The Shadow brought them both back up at as they came above different quantities of green that were provided by the trees. Then there was a huge clearing in the midst of the trees.

The Shadow brought her down and without a single warning, he let go of her hand as they came close enough to the ground. She went soaring through the air for a split second before her body collided to the ground like a cannon due to gravity, she felt as if she was flying.

She screeched in pain when the contact to the ground came, grabbing at the grass. Her back arched in pure agony. Her eyes blurred as her gaze rested upon the Shadow standing near a group of boys with a raised brows and agape mouths.

"Peter won't be back until after sundown," a boy with rough blond hair and a deep scar etched on his face answered. The Shadow nodded as it glanced back at her, then shot up leaving her alone with complete strangers. She furrowed her eyebrows at the pain of all of the cuts that had opened once again. Wondering why the pain ached so bad if she had experienced the emotion before.

The boys all stared down at her. An unknown girl in overwhelming pain was laying before them, and not a single thought coming across their minds. "What'd we do now Felix?" A boy called out.

The blond haired boy looked at her. His eyebrows furrowed together a deep crease etched in his forehead. "We wait for Peter to come until then, we have to tie her up for safety measures," he stated.

The girl saw him walking towards her.  Memories flooded into her vision as a force of habit when she is frazzled. She started to panic, unforced "no's" flew out of her mouth. The boy softly took her into his arms as he brought the girl to a tree. He brung her hands around the trunk of the tree as he bonded them together with a thick rope.

She groaned in complete and utter pain as her small frame shifted in discomfort. "Please," she whispered staring up at him.

Her eyes started to feel heavy. The boy gave a sympathetic glance and brushed a piece of hair behind her ear. "What happened to you?" He questioned. All due to her eyes finally closing, she fell in a slumber, muting the pain for once.
