It was one of those few days that Alivia had found herself completely by herself. It had been a couple of days since her return back from the realm without magic.

And Peter was giving her an easy time, not trying to force her back on her feet too soon. She tried to talk to some of the new lost boys, but every time she got the chance to, they were busy with doing something else.

So, she brought herself to the dazzling waters that sat in Neverland. Slipping off her shoes, she dropped into the pool of water. Shivers ran down her spine as the she felt the liquid seep through her skin. Coaxing her into a moment where she could the presence of peace.

In hand was the pocket watch. Alivia found it more reassuring to have the object in hand when she was alone, in a way, it made her feel like someone was there with her. Slipping over a gap where no rocks lied, Alivia could feel the watch slip out of her hand, falling into the pond.

Fumbling backwards, Alivia fell back onto the ground. "Ah crap," she muttered as she cautiously came to her feet. Squinting down into the water, Alivia's eyes wandered quickly in attempt to find the gold watch, "Livia?" A voice questioned making her jump in surprise.

Twirling around, she let out a puff. "Peter?" She asked tilting her head slightly. "What're you doing here?" He asked making her grin sheepishly. "Ah I dropped something of mine in the water." She said tucking her hair behind her ears in slight annoyance of not being after to discover the lost watch,

"Here let me help," Peter offered stepping in. "Ah Peter wait it's slip-" but before she could finish the fair warning, he stepped in and on the slipperier part of the river. Slipping forward, Alivia brought her arms out in attempts to catch him.

But the dead weight that Peter brought with him was no friend of hers. Together latching onto each other, they fell in the river. Alivia could feel the cool water sting her skin as she sunk lower into the pond. Quickly, she swam herself to the top. Spinning around herself, she looked for Peter in complete fear. Fear that he may have drowned in the blue ripples of the water.

Alivia could only hear the sharp thump that her heart was making against her rib cage. That was until Peter popped up in front of her, nearly inches from her face. Jumping in surprise, Alivia lost the footing that she had and fell into the water once more. But no more than a second in the oxygen stealing liquid, she felt a hand grab her arm and bring her up to the surface.

Gasping for air, her eyes settled on the boy before her. "I found your watch," he beamed holding it up. "Aha thank you," she said smiling at him. "It wasn't that hard finding it, I kind of landed on it-" "That's not what I meant."

"What?" "I was thanking you for helping me up." She laughed. "Oh~" Peter said a small tint of pink placing itself on his cheeks. "Are you blushing?" "No." "No? But I'm pretty sure-" before Alivia could come up with a protest. Water was splashed against her face.

Standing there frozen with shock she looked over at Peter. "Oh you're on." She said giving him a shove causing him stumble backwards into the pond. "Ah, LIVIA!" Peter screamed in surprise. His arms flew out desperately trying to catch her.

Alivia laughed at his poor attempts in trying to grab her, well did laugh, that was until he did grabbed ahold of her elbow and pulled her into him as he fell backwards. Alivia could hear the air blind her ears until she made contact with the water. There was a faint pop, and then their was nothing else.

The silence under the water was strangely comforting, but Alivia had never been the best at holding her breathe. Helplessly, they swam their way to the top, holding onto each other for dear life. When they broke to the surface, Alivia gasped for air. Slowly the small sting in her lungs vanished. Looking up at Peter she grinned as he brushed the water from his eyes.

When he looked down at her, he couldn't help but suppress the laughter that grew inside of him. Together, arms wrapped around each other they laughed where they stood. Leaning on his chest for support Alivia urged out five words~ "You should've seen your face!" She said trying to her best to calm her laughter.

"You should've seen your face when you realized that you were going down with me." He said laughing along with her. Shifting her head upwards, Alivia locked eyes with Peter. His eyes beamed off emotions Alivia had never seen so vibrant before.

They seemed to radiate joy and an overwhelming rate of happiness. The laughter died down, and the smiles faded. Alivia could feel her heart thump against her chest harder than she had ever felt. But I wasn't of the same fear that seemed to always creep up and inside of her. But the fear of not being able to feel the emotions that she felt with Peter ever again.

"What are you doing?" A voice hollered from the land. Snapping their heads towards the commotion, there stood the boys peering out from behind trees. One had his hand clamped tightly over his mouth. His eyes wide with shock and self-hatred for what he had just done.

Dropping his hand, Newt came out from behind the tree. Rolling his shoulder back like he always did when we was nervous, he cleared his throat and nudged his head. Out came Reese, Ace, and Nixon. "Where's the others?" "Took off like there was no tomorrow." Reese explained awkwardly.

"We were just looking for her watch." Peter said holding up the original task that they were set out to do. Looking up at him Alivia let out a gasp. "Peter y-your head." She said reaching up and lightly touching his forehead.

Wincing and flinched backwards, Peter gripped onto the watch in hand. "We should go get you looked at." She said taking his arm and leading him out of the pond.
