“Okay, before we do anything else, give me your phones” Aaron said, sounding like a father.
Everybody handed him their phones without hesitation, apart from me. He looked at me, stretching his arm out.
“No” I stated calmly, making him roll his eyes.
“Come on, we don't want anything bad to get on the social networks right?” He laughed.“I won't give you my baby, Jack might call” I replied, just as calmly. Aaron sighed, looking as if he was arguing with himself.
“Okay, only this one time” He said, pinching the bridge of his nose. I smiled proudly, before taking one of the peppermints, since my breath was kinda bad.
I dropped it in, and waited for it to be done, as the others started digging into their food. After a few moments it was done, and I grabbed the half empty bottle of beer from Phil, and the not touched piece of pizza from Tino, who were both sitting next to me. Both of them glared at me, making me grin.
“I thought you got used to that” I smiled, taking a gulp of the cold beer. It was an amazing feeling, the bitter-sweet liquid coming in my mouth, dancing around, before slowly flowing down my throat, leaving it in a chill state. I opened my eyes and looked at them again.
“Still” Phil muttered, making me laugh. He flipped me off, taking a new beer from the cooling box next to us.
The three of us sat on the floor next to each other, Loz, Alan and Aaron sat on the couch and Austin sat on the sofa alone. We all ate, drank and laughed a lot, and I really felt like I was home again. I didn't feel like I was working for them. Though they never gave me the 'I'm your boss' attitude, I still had to make sure I was nice and fresh the next day, meaning I couldn't get too drunk, which sucked. But tonight, I could do whatever I desired.
“Guys, before I do something stupid, are the fire alarms turned off?” I asked.
Loz thought about it for a moment, before jumping up and running to the cellar.
She reappeared about 10minutes later nodding at me.
“Thanks for reminding me” She chuckled. I nodded and looked around the room.
Austin slowed me down with the smoking, and I just pouted at him. He chuckled, throwing me a regular cigarette, making me shrug. Better than nothing, right?I lit it with my own small lighter, inhaling the smoke, which made my throat dry out for a split of a second, burning a bit afterward, leaving it slightly sore, leaving the smoke inside my lungs for a few moments, exhaling it slowly through my nose. I took another deep breath of the cigarette, repeating the process. Laura then stood up, with a bottle of Vodka in her hand, making me chuckle.
“On an amazing tour!” She exclaimed, handing the bottle to Alan.
“For another amazing night!” He said, taking a gulp.
“On you guys!” Screamed Aaron, drinking.
“For Jay” He winked, taking a swig.
“To an awesome next tour!” Exclaimed Phil.
“On you guys, for having a blast” I smiled, letting the cold liquid run in my mouth. Though it was ice cold, it started burning in my mouth and throat immediately, making my face turn into somewhat disgusted for a few moments, before I breathed the alcohol out, getting slightly light headed.
“To us!” Yelled Tino, making us all cheer.
This was one of our rituals. When we took our first gulp of vodka, we'd drink it from the bottle, and all of us saying our own 'wishes'.
I smiled as we all got back into conversations about utter bullshit. Mostly about tour.Half an hour later, it started to get dark outside, and the moon was faintly shining in the sky. I stood up quietly, trying not to draw too much attention to me and looked up at the silver half moon, shining down onto the earth. I hugged myself kinda, feeling tears coming to my eyes. I missed Jack. A lot. I just wish he was here and would hug me right now, telling me one of his ridiculous jokes, making me crack up and laugh for a few minutes. I wiped away the tears quickly, feeling stupid to cry.
As if on cue, I felt pairs of arms hugging me from my sides, and behind, making me smile slightly. I somehow managed to turn around and hugged all of them back.
We didn't need to say a thing, we all just knew. One by one let go off me, and walked back on the couch, leaving me alone with the one person, who could make me feel better now.
“You're going to see him soon” Austin said, rubbing my back, as I buried my face in his chest.
“But I still miss him so much” I mumbled, my arms tangled in his shirt. I barely hugged anybody back when we were really hugging, I'd just grab their shirt, making sure they wouldn't leave me.
Call me clingy, but I was scared of losing people. Especially my friends.
I heard Austin sigh, and giving me a tight squeeze, making me feel a bit better.
“Come on now, it's night and we have some awesome stuff to do” he said, lifting my head so I could look at him. I nodded, wiped my tears away and sat down with him on the small sofa, both of squeezed to the sides. Austin pulled out a longer and a bit larger cigarette, making me smirk slightly. He laughed as he saw my expression, making me hit his arm lightly.
He lit it carefully, taking the first few breathes, not really inhaling it, but just keeping it in his mouth, identifying the taste of it. He took a long breath from it, making it a bit shorter, throwing his head back, before exhaling it after a few seconds, handing it to me, his head still thrown back.
I took it, holding it between my index and middle finger, admiring the little orange spark at the very front, slowly burning the weed inside the semi transparent paper. I took the filter in between my lips, taking in a sharp and long breath through my mouth, gasping so the smoke would enter my lungs. I closed my eyes and felt the dizziness overcome me. My head started spinning ever so slightly, making me beg for more. I could feel goosebumps working their way up my arms and legs, leaving the sensation of wanting more and more and more.
I exhaled the smoke slowly through my mouth, taking my time doing so. I put the cigarette between my lips once again, taking another deep breath, repeating the process, only a bit faster this time, handing it further to Tino, who gladly accepted. I breathed the smoke out, chuckling lightly as I heard Tino cough slightly.
“Pussy” Austin and I mumbled at the same time. Both of us chuckled, waiting for the weed to kick in completely. I leaned on Austin's shoulder, as he hugged me closer, I watched the others taking their part of the cigarette. Loz passed it to Alan, who gladly accepted and inhaled a lot, leaving me wonder how big his lungs must be.
Aaron passed it to Austin, who held it between his thumb and index finger, inhaling the hot smoke, not breathing for a few moments, before breathing all out and taking a new breath, handing it to me. I was left to take the last bit, and accepted it gladly, repeating the process from before once again, closing my eyes and throwing my head back, as the rush of happiness and dizziness overloaded me. I threw the remaining spark into a jar of water, letting it turn off.
Loz pulled Aaron with her into the kitchen to get us some booze, making me smile. I laughed as Loz nearly tripped over the body of Phil, who was lying down flat, looking at the ceiling as if it was the most interesting thing in the world. I chuckled at him, taking the bottle of Jack Daniels from Laura, opening the lid carefully and taking a few gulps, handing it to Austin, who drank some as well, handing it further to Aaron.
Aaron and Laura didn't really smoke, but they drank. And let me tell you, they were good at it. I smiled and took my beer from before, we weren't talking a lot right now, we were all just taking in our highs. I took a sip from the beer, letting the familiar flavour go down my throat.
Suddenly, I started giggling for no particular reason.
It started out silent and calm, but soon turned into hysterical fits of laughter, pulling the others with me, which resulted into me, laughing even more.
We kept on laughing for good 10minutes, Loz and me already crying from laughter.
“Why did you start” she exclaimed, clutching her belly.
“I-I don't kno-know” I said through fits of laughter, surprised I could still form a proper sentence.
We calmed down after another few minutes, all of us sitting on the floor by now, Loz and Alan snuggling up against each other, while the other just lay or sit on the ground.I fell back on the ground as well, looking at all the silly colours passing the room, making weird figures on the ceilings. I felt as if I was watching clouds go by, sitting up a bit, to take another swig from the Tequila bottle. I remember talking with the guys again, but I have no idea what about, since that was the last thing I remember from last night.
The next morning
I woke up, feeling the sun creeping up my arm, slowly dancing upon my pale skin, making me stir. I furrowed my eyebrows, trying to block out the headache that was forming in my head.

Hearing my blood circulate inside of me, was the most disgusting feeling I would ever experience. I slowly opened my eyes, half opening the left one first, before squeezing it shut tightly, as the sunlight was too bride. Covering my eyes, so I'd block out the sun, I slowly opened my eyes again, this time with less effort. I sat up a bit, regretting it, since my whole back and neck started hurting s well, as my arm went numb. After a couple of moments, I found the source of me waking up. My phone rang loudly.
In the chill of your stare, I am painfully lost
Like a deer in the lights of an oncoming bus
For the thrill of your touch, I was shamefully lost
As you tell me we're nothing but trouble.
I pushed my ass up a bit, trying to get to my phone, that lied in my back pocket.
Hearts on fire tonight
Feel my bones igni-“Hello?” I asked, my voice still rough.
“Jay?” Jack asked surprised. I didn't have to look at the caller ID, this was Jack's ring tone.
“Yeah?” I asked back, trying to wake up fully.
“Thank god you're alive” he muttered, making me frown.
“What?” I started, sitting up a finally “What do you mean?”
“Well, first of all, you didn't answer your phone for the last 10hours, and then, your tweets and instagram pictures weren't really calming” He said through the phone.
“What for tweets?” I asked, confused.
“Let me tell you! Number one 'We higher than a bamf', number two 'Up so high, yet can't reach the sky'. And your instagram's left me wondering if you're actually still alive” He said angry.
“Oh god seriously?” I asked, only now realizing I slept in a bathtub.
“Yeah, seriously” he hissed.
“Jack I'm sorry it's just … I just ...” I started, but I had no idea what to say. He groaned and let out a long sigh.
“Where are you?” He asked.
“In my bathroom” I replied, leaning my back against the cool porcelain.
“What” he chuckled lightly, making me smile.
“Never mind” I replied, running a hand though my hair.
“Jay?” He asked again.
“Hm?” I replied, loving the sound of his voice.
“Did you … Did you hear what I said the last time?” He asked nervously, making me smile.
“I love you too, Jack” I smiled. He laughed shortly.
“I love you” he repeated, making me shiver and smile. “That's why I was so worried” he continued, making me sigh.
“I'm sorry, but it's something the guys and I do from time to time, we don't get into danger normally, I don't know what happened yesterday, but I promise you, it's okay” I reassured him.
“Okay, I believe you” He laughed. “Call me later in the evening today, okay?” He asked.
“Okay” I smiled.
“Love you” Jack said.
“Love you too” I replied, before declining the call, and smiling at my reflection, before taking off my clothes and jumping into the shower.A/N:
