Jay's POV

I listened to Austin's story, my cheeks starting to hurt from the smile on my face.

“A-and she's so amazing” He stuttered, making my heart melt.

“Austin, this is so adorable! I am so fucking happy for you!” I said, clutching my heart. Jack already paused the video and looked interested at me. I resisted to laugh and showed him the one second sign, which resulted no reaction from him whatsoever. I shook my head and resumed to the phone call.

“-can't believe I'm so lucky to have her! She's the best, and also do you know what the best thing ever is?” He asked.

“No, tell me” I said smiling.

“She doesn't know I'm in a band” He said squealing, making me laugh.

“Dude, you're easy to impress” I laughed.

“But no, just I can be normal around her!” He squealed once again.

“Okay Austin, go back to your girlfriend and get to know her. Love you and see you soon” I smiled.

“SEE YOU!” He screamed, making me laugh and decline the call.

I looked up from my phone to see Jack hasn't moved one bit and was still looking at me with a half smile.

“Jack?” I asked. No reaction.

“Jack?” I asked, louder this time. Still no reaction.

“JACK BASSAM BARAKAT!” I screamed, making him snap his head at me.

“What?” he asked confused.

“Jesus Christ, where have you been” I laughed, taking his head and pulling him onto the balcony upstairs.

“Here all the time?” He answered confused.

“Dude, I've been calling you for a minute now” I said.

“No?” He said, looking shocked at me, making me nod.

He hid his face in his hands, making me laugh while I lit my cigarette.

“You should really stop it” Jack muttered while I inhaled the smoke. I held it in my lungs, frowning and looking at him.

“Does it bother you?” I asked, before breathing the smoke out.

“It does to be honest I mean … What if you get ill from it?” He asked, worry showing in his eyes. I sighed, lowering the cigarette and pressing my forehead against his.

“I'm not going to leave you” I smiled, closing my eyes, as his arms found their way around my waist, drawing small circles on it.

“Good” He smiled. I sighed and took another drag of my cig, making Jack grown.

“Psh” I shushed him, making him smile and shake his head.

“Hang on...” He started, furrowing his eyebrows.

I turned around to him and cocked my head to one side.

“Yeah?” I asked.

“Didn't you stop smoking?” He asked confused.

I thought back, shaking my head.

“Oh! Yeah it was shortly before I left to California right? For Alice's wedding I wasn't smoking already right!” I pointed out.

“Why did you start again?” he asked confused. I raised my eyebrows and looked at him, a smile showing on my face.

“Well take a wild guess” I said, my smile forming out of pure shock.
