it's about yuuri who is a high school dropout because he lives with his abusive uncle and needed to get a job (he's seventeen and seven months away from eighteen)

and viktor who's a nineteen year old rich boy who lives alone, has all the money everyone could ever want because his parents pay for everything but wants to live a normal life and do things for himself.

character descriptions:

yuuri: just like in the anime, except skinnier, scars in many places on his body and not nearly as happy (even though he was barely even happy in the anime)

viktor: his hair is short, due to specific reasons and his appearance is pretty much the same. although in this book he tries a lot harder to be able to live a life for himself and not have everything handed to him

uncle john (yuuri's uncle): has scruff, and messy greasy brown hair to his ears. he has very dull eyes, a rude and poisonous personality, loves to smoke, gets drunk every night and abuses yuuri. he's also the only family yuuri has left.
