After things died down a bit, and the sun began to set, we all went back inside. Cassandra and Naomi forgot to get things to clean the pools with, but we still got the trampoline set up. By we, I really mean Nekoda put the net together whilst Niko and Haru held the frame together, after Nekoda put the frame together.

"So he's the son of Satan but totally hates his guts?" Malik asked.

"Yeah, kinda reminds me of a certain pair of siblings. I can't quite remember their names though" I spoke sarcastically.

"Yeah, was it the Olsen twins?" Haru asked, keeping the joke going.

"Nah dude, it's the Sprouse twins!" Niko chimed in.

"No, it was Lindsay Lohan and Lindsay Lohan from the Parent Trap!" Cassandra added in.

I started to cry from how hard I was laughing, "Lindsay Lohan and Lindsay Lohan!".

Haru shifted under me, laughing his ass off, "oh my god, pinky!". We all continued to laugh for a bit, and I realized how good I had it. I have a loving, caring boyfriend, and I have friends who make me laugh and feel good about myself. My life is great and I shouldn't take it for granted.

Luke took a deep breath, "shit man, that was too funny".

Malik's eyes were glued to the screen, "Lucifer's demons don't look like diseased animals".

"Some people like to change aspects of things and make it their own. Think of it as their own little signature or watermark" I told the winged man.

"Oh, I understand now! Humans truly are fascinating" the angel said breathlessly.

"And annoying as shit" Luke muttered.

"Amen" Malik said with a sly smile.

I leaned in and whispered into Haru's ear, "how long do you think it'll take for Luke and Nekoda to sit together and be awkward as hell?".

He chuckled and whispered back, "I'll give it a few more episodes, what's the wager?".

I giggled and continued the hushed conversation, "you win, and I'll go to laser tag with you. I win, and you have to treat me to a day at the salon".

"Hey you two, save the flirting for alone time! It's tv time!" Niko barked.

I raked my hands through Haru's hair and put on a pretend pouty face, "you're just mad you can't sink your teeth into him like I can".

Niko rolled his eyes, "pulling the cannibal card, typical".

I smiled, "I am a cunning fox after all". I got up, "you guys want anything?".

"I'm good" my lovely boyfriend said.

"Same" said Niko.

"Sprite, please!" Luke called out.

"Dew me!" Nekoda said with a laugh.

"I may take you up on that" I said sarcastically.

"Oh lord, please let there be a video" Haru joked.

I tossed Nekoda a Dew and Luke a sprite, "there will be, but not for you to see". I grabbed myself a Dr. Pepper and sat back in Haru's lap, "it's a shame too, you'll never get the kinda action she will".

The dog boy put his arm around my waist and sighed, "such a shame". He kissed my shoulder casually and continued watching the show.

A few episodes later, Niko got up from between Luke and Naomi on the couch, "I'm heading to bed, I'll talk to you guys in the morning".
